I think he meant the download. When it almost complete, Safari will report an error saying connection reset by peer or something similiar, I can't remember, I used to get this problem for ffmpegx download.

It's built in. Much better than WinXP if you asked me.
Go to System Preferences > International > Add Chinese to your languages.
Then in "Input Menu", enable the chinese. And check "Show input menu in menubar".

Select the chinese from menubar when you want to type chinese.

VMware have better support on graphic card. But both software are still in early stage on offering GPU support. VMware is the leading one amongst 2.

Apple used to bundle stuffit expander before they have BOMArchieveHelper (the built-in app).

The latest Stuffit 2009 seems to have issue with some RAR multiparts files. It report error while the older Stuffit works just fine. The down part of using all the freewares is missing some advance feature like recover / repair corrupted archive as I aware.

There no need for such thing. CMD + i, click on the icon, hit delete and you get back the system default icon.

For those with Macbook/Macbook Pro, I believe investing something like that HiddenApp which suddenly coming up in the news probably well worth the US$15/year you'll ever spent.

Forgotten to add the URL for the app, it is here:

That works in US & Europe cause the Skyhook network is very active. Not so much in our country.
