i'm a bit picky in choosing apps..im only install apps that have great outlook (interface)..same like devices or my desktop itself, my criteria of choosing will be appearance first and performance comes later tongue.gif

apps for my macbook are:

Browser: Safari v5 + iGetter

Movie: NicePlayer (with perian installed)

Music: iTunes (with DesktopLyrics and TuneLyrics)

Office: iWork '09 + OpenOffice

Networing: iChat (i only use gmail lor tongue.gif )

Others:
AppCleaner (For safely uninstall apps with its associate files)
AppFresh (find updates for apps easily)
CleanMyMac (maintenance software)
Burn (burner apps)

Speed Download 5.2.20 [Nice app  thumbup.gif same as IDM]
is it function almost the same like IDM?
i would like to have download manager that can have its own download panel for embedded video like youtube.

a better way to get FLV from youtube is the Safari extension "Youtube Video Downloader for Safari"

http://github.com/jonathanboom/YouTube-vid...ader-for-Safari

it puts a button beside the Subscribe button on youtube videos, and list out all the versions available for download.

works very well!

hi..

im used to play movies on PC with GomPlayer

but when i change to mac, there is no GomPlayer for mac.
i've tried QuickTime, VLC, NicePlayer and Plex to play movies but none of these is similar to GomPlayer in term of keyboard shortcuts, subtitles configuration, simplicity, stability and nice interface..

few week back i've come across a new apps (not so new coz its been developed since 2007) which called MOVIST..
its not so popular among mac user since its developer's site is in Korean (i think its Korean..huhu..)

so, for those who seek movie player similar with GomPlayer, i highly recommend Movist..in fact, i think this soon will be the best Mac movie player.

Download MOVIST here!!
