Anyone still got any idea about the more advance photo editing software? like the photoshop in windows...

look for YM for mac, i use YM mac edtion, but that edition does not have all the feature in Windows

there is Photoshop for mac, btw for your info, Photoshop were first made for Mac, I mean the very 1st version of Photoshop 20+ years ago...

Which app allows me to use external drive in Mac also in Window?
*
wat do u mean by that...

all USB or FireWire external HDD support Mac and Windows

what not supported is the file system, Mac dont support Windows file system - NTFS, and in Windows also not supported Mac file System (HFS / HFS+)

by default Mac OSX only can read NTFS but not writing it, and by default Windows cant read and write HFS/HFS+

if u saying that u wan to use a external HDD from Mac OSX formated using NTFS file system, then u need program like Paragon NTFS or NTFS 3G (freeware) to write on the disk

if u wan to use an external HDD from Windows formated using HFS / HFS+, then u need MacDrive (as said by gengstapo)

then u need to install Paragon NTFS (shareware) or NTFS-3G (freeware)

or alternatively if ur external HDD does not contain any thing u need, u can just reformat it with FAT file system so both Windows and Mac can access the drive

guys just bought a mb. my question is, is it mandatory to have anti-virus and firewall set up?
*
well is not mandatory ... anyway MacOSX has it own build in firewall

if u hope to get a firewall for Mac there is Little Snitch (not free) , there is also some antivirus like ClamXav (free)

well basically so far, the probability of getting a Mac / Unix virus are very very very slim.... i would say 0.0001 out of the probability of 1... maybe in the future there will be more virus.. now it still ok

as from security... Mac are not hack free... u still vulnerable for attacks... so dont always let ur guard down

bro bro did mac has Photoshop software? and a software to make/design a website?
*
for photo editing software there is Adobe Photoshop and Apple Aperture, and iPhoto can do a little bit of photo editing too

Adobe Photoshop were 1st made for Mac since 20 years ago tongue.gif , so remember there is Photoshop for Mac

for web design there is Adobe Dreamweaver and Apple iWeb, i prefer Dreamweaver as iWeb were too simple and lack of features, but if u were a beginner to making new website iWeb is a good starting tools

My list of Top Frequently Used Free Apps / Software:
Adium
AppCleaner
Burn
Colloquy (if you still using IRC)
Firefox
Growl
MPlayer OSX Extended (in my point of view better than VLC)
Perian
Plex (plays HD 1080 smooth like butter when other players fails to perform well)
Transmission

software are merely arrange in alphabetic order... not in more favor or most used

Actually it's already built into the Mac OS X it self.
When you print, go to change layout you desire..

Yup mac can do that, but can't "magnify" or remove the white space as good as FinePrint does.

This is what I personally does, on Mac boot Windows thru Parallel / VMWare Fusion then print from there.

Still I only does this when I have tons of Power Point slides needed to print nicely and big enough, else Mac standard multipage is sufficient for me. tongue.gif
