when your bro entered your card its already in auto renewal, meaning wen the gold mati it will automatically buy 1 month LIVE gold. You need call Xbox SG to cancel it, no alternative.

and the xbox transaction only appear in your card after like 2 weeks, not instant or 1-2 day.. XD
in that case, your bro acc may not set as auto renewal login your bro account using www.xbox.com u can check there |
