is the razer imperator good?
what about built quality? the button will easily spoil after 1year?
hand grip feel, ergonomic enough?
will the rubber coating peel off after some tear and wear? I hate it most LOL

I can get it for RM180 on some coupun stuff
so please feedback! thanks

that's pretty cheap. (:

build quality - subjective question, depends on how the user use it too.
double click - as long as a mice is fitted with omrons, then it'll most prolly occur.
shape - depends on individual
rubber peeling - depends on the user too.
The major prob is the sensor itself, crappy.

opt for a DA, much better. smile.gif

omrons are higher quality switches.

yes, it is infrared. both are invisible.

i have both razer DA 3.5g and imperator.
i personally prefer DA's sensor, but the shape of imperator.
due to my smaller sized hands, i prefer the ergonomics of imperator > DA.
thus, i am using imperator instead eventho its sensor suffer from z-axis error, which i'd rather face than an uncomfortable mice.
my opinion, try both out, your opinions may vary from other forummers as it is very subjective from one person to another.

for me, i have 3 razer mouse, all of them, well over a year, and still working without a problem.
on a sidenote, imperator's scroll wheel feels much better than DA's, at least for me.

Does the 2012 Imperator suffer from the z-axis error as well? Damn it, am really close to getting a 2012 Imperator to replace my dying 1st gen DA and now I read about this doh.gif

the optical sensor in the 2012 imperator only reduces the z-axis error, but it is still there.

just wondering, is this legit? :/

hmm. thats why i prefer the naga over the imperator, though the imperator's grip is awesome.
