Most of the beginner are not aware of what switches they had used. Blue switch are the most low end switches for mechanical keyboard though.

neither is your beloved keyboard with mx black switches an ideal switch for gaming tongue.gif who said blue switches are low end? if it is low end, then why those mx blue mech boards from leopold, ducky, filco are priced the same as others? except for mx red.

and if you say mx blue not for gaming, then please bring your big mouth with your high ego and tell off those people using BW for gaming. And mind you, the impact of keyboard in a game is not much compared to the mice.

It's seems I'm another victim of Razer's bad quality control. My Onza need to be-re-plugged in so many times to detect.

I have a RM10 controller for PC, no problem at all.

Actually I've been victimized again, I used to had problems with a Lycosa and a Mamba tongue.gif

Other than that all good. If it's just broke, it would be easier for me to RMA, but if it's like this what am I suppose to do, quite a hassle.

Cherry MX Blue Switches

Type: Tactile & Clicky Switch
Link: Datasheet
Tactile: Yes, precise
Clicky: Yes
Actuation Force: 50g (60g Peak Force) (Force Diagram)
Key Travel: 2mm to actuation, 4mm to bottom
Cherry MX Blue switches are the best cherry switch for typing. The tactile bump can easily be felt, and the resistance is similar to your average keyboard.

Although many people find them just fine for gaming, some don't like the fact that the release point is above the actuation point. This can cause some trouble with double-tapping. This is usually the case with someone who has experienced other mechanical switches before hand.

As a note: this switch actually has a peak force of 60g, it is 50g at the point of actuation. This is due to the design of the Cherry switch itself.

must we seriously go back to the topic of classifying things on what is for gaming, what isnt? if that thing works for you, so be it. if it doesnt, dont purchase it. for example, console is created for gaming, so must we only play on that platform since it is "gaming"? whereas the computer did not start out as a gaming platform?

nah, he is emphasizing that blues are crafted to be used for typing, not gaming in mind. on simple terms, he is saying that if we buy nike basketball shoe, can only play basketball with it. it is apparently illegal in his point of view to wear it as anything else but it's primary use.

gaming on a mx blue switches? problems? so must mx blue must be only of typing alone? doh.gif
so what about membrane? gaming on membrane, bash people up. Typing on membrane, everything is fine? Mind you, there is membrane boards out there that cost more than 7G, as and it's labeled as one of the smartest gaming engineering feat that was created by mankind.

cheat gamers? only applies to idiots like you. Qpad, XArmour also have mx blue boards, so they are cheating gamers too? inb4 oem.

So true. Besides, a computer was never created as a gaming console too. People are free to use what they want or how we want to utilize it. Don't need to condemn if blue switches are low end or stuff, people's choice.
