Guys, I'm currently living in a condo. Bought the place and moved in at 2007. When I first moved in, I hired a contractor then to do the wiring from the scratch and then apply for a fresh new account with TNB. Yup, the unit did not have anything done before that.

Problem is, about 6 months ago, one of the air con in the bedroom got shot. Then, 3 months ago, water heater at the mail bathroom got shot. I think the whole house wiring was not done properly.

Question is, how much will it cost me to redo the whole wiring in the house from scratch? I already have a 14 point fuse switchbox installed that currently being used. I just want fresh wires to start from the box to all my lightings, air cons, water heaters, fans, etc to ensure nothing 'bad' happens.

Please help with suggestions and advices. Thank you so much!

I guess you need to check and re-lay new cables for those high voltage equipment (aircorn / water heater, etc), as those good to have individual.
But if you want to relay the whole house, than I guess you need to move out else those dusts will kill you first, or you just want to use PVC to covert it up.

Most of the time, the electrian will tap into existing cable and use, endup if you turn on aircorn or heater together, it fused will jumps lol.

Get few more people to check and quote lol

what you mean by "shot"?
first of, u should try to determine if its equipment problem or wiring problem. If its wiring problem, look for a reputable electrician who have the proper tool to check on the cable insulation for the whole house. Chances are, the problem is at the equipments or just part of the wiring is damaged.
