May i know, if i upgrade my baseband, would it wiped my phone or any chances of bootloop etc etc?

Currently using LITENING ROM V5.0 with KG5 Baseband.

I want to flash to KH3 broadband.

So, what are the steps?

I cant find the way in page1 maybe can enlightened me?

if you flash only baseband ("phone" in odin), it wont wipe your phone and usually it is quite safe to do so.

1. launch odin
2. click "phone"
3. browse your PC folder and locate your KH3 baseband (modem)
4. then flash it.

all roms are able to display chinese natively. yes, google pinyin will solve your chinese input issue if you are on non asian rom. yes, what intratech is offering in xda for all the roms are flash via odin. flashing via odin is much easier or hassle free compare to kies.

anybody facing games randomly hang on kh3? i have been using darky and leomar's kh3, tried darky, cfroot, speedmod t-39 and tegrak kernel, all giving me same issue.

i have not seen it being reported in the thread but i suspect KH3 might be the culprit. put it this way, i consider myself as techie. i know what i am doing.

that's what i did, from darky R2 to leomar2.6, running on those kernels that i mentioned. let me run few more tests on other games to conclude the scenario. initially i thought it could be some background apps that causing this issue, therefore i tried to be as "stock" as possible, freezing those apps that i installed and yet the problem still exist. worse case scenario, i will try stock kh3 rom.

most of it were downloaded from market directly and some are from getjar, they are giving 50 paid apps for free. DHII was downloaded from market

I'm not sure, but it looks like me and davidlow7 share at least some of the same problems. Not sure if we're facing 100% the same problem.

I would summarize mine as:

1) While actively using data and sitting still, suddenly data connection drops. No H or 3G or E. Network connection error pops up.

2) Sometimes, despite showing full bar and 3G, etc, I cannot make or receive phone calls and smses. I also cannot access data. Now that I use 2G full time and only switch to 3G when I need it, I no longer encounter this issue.

100% stock, no batt saving apps, baseband GTI9100DXKH1, Digi Smart Plan.

I recently updated the gingerbread version to KH2 though. I still encounter issue (1).
I suspect issue (2) to be a universal network problem regarding jumping between 2g and 3g so it should still be there.

Please do correct me if I'm wrong. I'm not a network or SGS2 expert and am looking to learn.

there is a possibility that your SIM card is the culprit. i used to encounter similar issue when i was using iphone. after changing to new SIM card it solved my problem. another possible reason could be, your network provider is having issue.

since you have flashed to another rom, i dont think rom is causing this. conclusion, SIM card or network provider issue.

i think if you are using iphone, you will face the same issue. however, iphone could last slightly longer than SGS2.
