For me, one of the reasons to try out MIUI is to get rid of samsung stuff. Galnet idea to port back Samsumg apk (only some of them work anyway) on cm framework idea is a strange concept for me. i woulf think if one want samsumg apk better stay on with other ROM.

edit: except for samsung camera.apk but i am not hopeful.

Uncle Benny, I have tried both MIUI and I prefer bmarko with rsome mods.

I think I need to wipe data to go back to Cognition.. What are the strengths of Cognition + Speedmod Vanila?

I have flashed Cognition v1.5.1 and then flashed Speedmod kernel. My first day experience

- battery life not as good as expected. MIUI was better. During idle hours was OK, but drain a lot when I activated Wifi and Data day time. Will observe for a few days.
- I replace TW launcher with GO launcher EX and flash JKay Mods separately. Then, I noted GO launcher lag (2-3 seconds lag, first time since 2 mths+) while the phone try to wake up. I use SetCPU Screen Off profile Min 500Mhz. How could that be?

When I dial *#9900# in order to disable fast dormancy, a message "connection problem or invalid MMI code"....

I will stay on a few days. If battery issue persists, I may re-flash Cognition bundled with Ninphetamine-2.1.3. Will wipe data compulsory if re-flash cognition?

MIUI has many themes / icon pack / mod - find those not colourful one. I even added Alt App Drawer to make it less iphone look-a-like

Latest Galnet RC4 not bad if you don't mind calender FC. Basic BT works.

Last night I flashed v1 T27 seems better than SpeedMod T39.

Anyone here using / used Cognition 1.51 + RAGEMod combo? May I ask what is your best RAGEMod version?
