I dunno where you getting at but the ONLY official rom from Samsung for Galaxy S2 in Malaysia comes through kies. The latest is KH2 (2.3.3)

Any other ROM whatsoever you flash through odin is not official for Galaxy S2 in Malaysia. It maybe official in some other country (or XDA) but not in Malaysia.

You ask to late. Warranty already void. Just remember to flash back official rom if you ever need to visit samsung service center. Also clear the flashing counter if possible.

Benny used alot of time to setup the guides, tips etc. on the first few post. The most you can do is read them as a way to thank him.

Yeah most rom are doing it this way, just updating. Because base rom all the same and nothing new to change. So cookers just make packages to remove old tweaks and install new tweaks and customization. Easier also for user.

I thought u still can use setcpu. The script is just for shutting down 1 core during sleep. My rom touch xtreme also same tweaks and i am using setcpu.

Isn't the daemon control suppose to deactivate if you are using other similar app like setcpu.

Yes i know. But if your already using setcpu you won't need the daemon tool, because the overclock script would be deactivated.

I did not have this problem when i was using lightning rom. Actually i did not have any problem at all with lightning. The reason i ditch it is because it does not support jkay themes.

Its the additional feature of shutting down 1 core in sleep that is new. It will run no matter which app you using to control your processor

BTW initial testing, normal at night my phone run at 9 - 11mah (flight mode). After the script for shutting down one core i am getting 2 - 5 mah. Will need more time to confirm.

Yeah, its a nice feature. But only increase your standby time. If you use your phone alot, surfing, gaming etc. you will see no difference.

Well just to check your outside right? Also turn on data to download aGPS data. Will help you lock faster. Papago lock within seconds on my device.

If i remember correctly if your data is on when you reboot, android will automatically download agps data. No indication is given. You can also use apps such as GPS status to update agps.

There have been a new look for months now. But i think it have not been pushed to Malaysia yet so unless you are running cooked rom, you will just see the old market.

But from my experience the old market is better cos it is faster, show all my apps and less issue downloading.
