just found out i know a few people who have a smartphone but is not actually using any data plan. they disable data on the phone.

they said with wifi all over the place (office, home, coffeeshops), no need for data plan.

just wondering... how many sgs2 users are also like that? can ar? i find that a bit kiasu, no? no offence to those who are doing this... but i tot smartphone is like having data on the go...

so for these ppl... cannot really viber in bus, lrt until you reach a place with wifi... no?

SwiftKey is really good to use. Unless if you like Swype then is a different thing lo. For me, never like Swype. Don't know why.

need a quick help on manual APN setting for celcom prepaid (pls only prepaid...celcom careline no good). I had used all APN setting on various site but still not able to make my phone sending/receiving the MMS. As i remember nokia 5800 only took x sen on my prepaid to sent MMS. Read thru the page 1-9 but not available.

i did ticked Use packet data to receive/sent MMS and stop it when almost rm20 of my credit gone...very expensive MMS thou.

Hi, another noob question from me. The phone got hot when i play Asphalt 6 HD, any clue?

How did you manage to cracked it? I thought its gorilla glass, isn't it supposed to be quite tough? 

The hot like 4X degree.

the phone in my pocket, i fall... playing with kids, forgot phone in pocket...    everything works fine, even can receive call but cannot pickup because no touchscreen... so i think only amoled problem... gorilla glass only scratch-proof, its not unbreakable... its still fragile as glass... furthermore, to be use on the thinest smart phone, the glass should be thin and light also...

i surveyed ebay, the price for amoled + digitizer around usd150. hopefully will not be more than rm500... 

Doesnt anyone else here find asphalt 6 and Fast 5 laggy? I tried googling but I could see no mention of the game running better on 2.3.4, that is the only reason I would upgrade...

This unit not so lucky
Have to apply SIRIM..
Then the screen got yellowish on left when the brightness is around 15% and below..
when above 15% then no problem already... I think this is very common problem
for all sgs2 users..

Hardware I think are basically the same as my SGS II Black.. but it runs smoother than my
SGSII with Balista 3.7.6 ROM. weird..maybe my SGS II black is fulled with apps, music and photos..

the back cover is different material as black one..white one looks smooth..

One thing good on white unit, the handfree is also white.. see the pic..
and I got a free gift from Handtec, not sure it is for white unit or I am their return customer...
the free gift is Universal Adapter
