sgp is Korea but many think is European n many sgp stuffs made in China

IMEI lost usually due to conflicts when cotinually chnging kernel n roms. so is good n must say compulsory to keep a bckup of imei
not too sure how such can happen but it does happen at times
refr page 1 post 6 just use the app to do it which is eaiest no brainer method
imei lost means simcard cannot be detcted at all so no more phone function
usually reflashing stock rom cannot revive it. only service center can do it
if you have an imei backup just 1 second you restore it back

Run the exe file to extract the rom files

in the odin window, you see the left most window is labelled id:com
if pc successfully detect phone, it will turn yellow and you will see com:4 or any other number

Flash MIUI rom and you will have 2.3.5

Reading it as mass storage device ( always will have no problem ) is different from PC able to detect phone in Odin , WHICH SOME USERS HAS THIS ISSUE DUE TO THEIR WINDOW FILES CONFLICTS

Sometimes it help, according to some users. Turning off anti virus is COMPULSORY if you are flashing Windows Mobile phones
Your problem i see si 99% USB drivers failed installation. Read FAQ page 1

Did you even bother to read page 1 FAQ before asking more questions ?
It doesn't matter ; if you want just switch off phone and try again if you feel more assured doing it . These are windows mentality - always reset to solve problem
