hi all, just recently bought used Keces HA-171. im using e9+e7 as dac and pre-amp and connect to Keces via pre-output.

but then the sound seems like distorting, at least to my ear.
izit the result of double amping?

PC --> E7+E9.. then use E9 RCA line output connect to Keces RCA Input I. This way won't be double amp.

yeah, that was what i did
pc -> e7+e9 (via pre-output not rca line out) -> Keces HA-171

but everything is fine now. i just increase the volume from e9.
so it will not double amp aite? so i can save money from buy other pure dac tongue.gif
