does the latest batch of e10 still have such problem? inserting both ends of the port, it will produce some ...... sound? thinking of getting one, but need some advice.. i'll be using it with my pc desktop using creative gigaworks t20 speaker and thinking of buying a superlux hd660 or hd669 to pair with e10. currently i'm using a usb dac, PCM2704. or you guys have something better to introduce?? QUOTE(nordingh @ Apr 25 2012, 01:02 AM) OK.. my 1st unit have a bit issue that sometime have some noise even without any song played. The replacement unit work perfectly now. I did test by inserting both end. 1. headphone output to earphone 2. lineout to CMOY and to headphone. Normal for me. hmm.. thanks.. i thought the e10 alone is a dac and amp? may i know why you still pair it with a CMOY amp?? and if you connect both ends and increase the volume, both your headphone n earphone volume will increase rite??

QUOTE(nordingh @ Apr 25 2012, 10:33 PM) When use line out at the back, volume have no function. That's why I use CMOY to control the volume and for AMP. To be honest, that my setup now. I use CMOY as AMP as I already upgrade the opamp. I need a clean output from E10 DAC and won't use crappy notebook sound card. Yes you're right... I use both DAC only (line out) and DAC/AMP (headphone out with volume) sometime. i actually want a dac/amp or amp with a volume knob with both line out and headphone out, so that i can adjust the volume easily. err.. since i'm using a usb pcm2704 dac with my speakers now and if i were to buy e10 and use the line out for my speaker, will i gain any improvement?? or i should just go for an amp instead and connecting it to my dac?
