guys, i am interested in small, light and affordable headphone amplifier. the other day i tested hippo box, ordnance .22 and this amp. i am using ordinary IEM and obviously the ordnance is overkill. so im looking for alternatives. been looking into fiio e3 and e6. these are my thoughts regarding them:

e3
- smaller
- no need for EQ
- no need for volume button
- no need to press on/off

e6
- lithium battery
- better sound quality
- future-proof, in case i upgraded to better IEM

at first i wanted to get the e3 but i have worries about the aaa battery. now probably the question would be is it better for me to get the e3 (and possibly eneloop batteries) or jump to e6 straight? at the moment i am using Philips SHS8000 IEM (i know, but i really like the sound) connected to LG E900 and i have no plan to upgrade. i dont really care about the price, but i would like to have something convenient. based on my research the e3 has no buttons, which is perfect for me. but if swapping batteries are too often, i might as well get the e6 which uses lithium battery.

i actually want a dac/amp or amp with a volume knob with both line out and headphone out, so that i can adjust the volume easily.

err.. since i'm using a usb pcm2704 dac with my speakers now and if i were to buy e10 and use the line out for my speaker, will i gain any improvement?? or i should just go for an amp instead and connecting it to my dac?

The FiiO E10 has headphones out on the front panel and line out on the back while both the  E7 and E17 have headphones out and line out via L7

Just got my Fiio E07K from E1-AKG.

Well, this is my first amp and DAC, but I can tell you that if you have some decent headphones, you will enjoy it with this lil' guy.

What was included : 2x Screen Protector, Pouch, Casing, and the other necessary stuff that are normally are included.

Its great to have this amp on my hand, solid lil' thing which performs great!

Guys, what software do you use to connect your handphones to a Fiio E17, in addition to the OTG Cable.

Just wanted to share some info with Fiio Q1 user on Iphone.
It needs the APPLE CCK and the original is very pricey at around RM100+, hence i took the risk by grabbing one from lelong at RM20 and surprisingly it works just fine.
although you will instantly notice the quality different

my question, will Q1 work if i use the USB - Micro Usb cable other than the supplied together? (charge & sync as charge only cable definitely won't work)
