"The reality is that if you think the E10 sounds good, then the E17 is going to be a clear upgrade. Identical tonality and sound signature means that if you like the E10′s sound, the E17 does bass/mid/treble exactly the same way. The bonus is that with the Alpen, the bass is punchier (awesome!), tighter (awesome x2), soundstage is wider, and the midrange is clearer. What is there not to like?"

The price of E17 is about 50% more than E10, both also Fiio and DAC/AMP. There's only one sentence to describe, you get what you paid laugh.gif

hehe..for me i think e17 is truly a good deal..all the features inside can cost double for a well known brand..and the sound can compare to RM1k amps..really an upgrade imo..i never heard my es10 can produce this rumbling bass except using govibe magnum..if anyone can come to bangi or kajang and want to try e17 just pm me..i'm doing nothing during semester break anyways tongue.gif

Hi guys,

I have a question about fiio portable amps, let say the e6.

if i use it for a portable music player or smartphone etc, wont that make it more cumbersome? with cables hanging everywhere?

Am really looking for ways to enhance my portable music experience.

well there are 2 audio outs for e10, one at the back which is line out, one in front which is headphone out, if u are using line out then u will be using it's dac only and connecting to another amp, if not u using both dac and amp from the package
