Yeah. That's the funny thing. I can make asio(asio4all) work w/ my realtek, but not E10. Using wasapi right now.

Hmm, I also thinking about grabbing an amp from FiiO too. I wonder how much the improvement will gain if I drive my aging 2.1 Creative speakers with the E10?

well, as long as your speaker still sounds good (no cracking sounds ect; ), i'm sure it'll get benefits from amping

I assume it's a usual PC speaker, w/ it's own amp? Then it won't actually benefit from amping, rather, the better sound output from the DAC part.

Anyway, like Mav said, as long the speaker is still good and your current sound card is a regular on-board, I bet the difference is there. How much of a difference? I agree w/ what bro android said.

Yes, I'm using onboard Realtek. That's why I prefer my Sony DAP w/Cube Pro F1 over the 2.1 speakers...

E7 has both amp and DAC, not to mention portability. But a bit heavy on the wallet side. Nevermind, start kumpul duit for E10 first... Not in need of amp. (Actually want to buy E6 for curiousity. But after seeing E10, changed my mind already.)

im waiting around first, cause E10 is the new beginning in Fiio products, i know it that even more awesome product better than this will come

The DAC/amp Fiio currently working on, the E15(desktop) and E17(portable) would be well over my budget, so E10 is a safe choice for now. Unless there's a newer and better DAC/amp combo within E10's range, I'll be damned.

I was looking at E7, but the fact that E7's amp is worse than E6 is kinda a turn off for me. Plus I'm not really into carrying an amp around, so E10 is my best bet.

p/s: There are others like the D-Zero and so on, but I miskin already.

have to agree, so far E10 would be a safe choice
lets see.. i've spent over RM600++ recently (this month) for my rigs, so i'd better plan next month budget for it

but better focus on good headphone/speaker first, then amping would be more meaningful

EQ7 really sounds great! Tested before while Jaben gathering.
but forgot to try to pair with AMP.

eq7 oni RM1300, UM Miracle i ordered is RM2500
my total damage = RM6300 LOL
