What kind of audio chip Fiio feature? E6 and E11

guys, what are the differences between DAC, AMP, PREAMP, USB?
so probably DAC is E7,AMP is E11, USB is E10? and what is preamp?

hey guys, i have found out what is DAC,AMP already. so between E7 and E11, which one would you guys recommend? As E7 has DAC function which can make my laptop sound quality better while E11 just amplify the sound of my laptop. However, E11 is a better amplifier than E7, so if I use E11 with my laptop, would it change my sound quality of my laptop or just amplify the sound of my laptop?

If you are going to use it just with your laptop, go with the coming FiiO E10 instead

Laptop on-board usually SQ is just so-so; or some would say is rubbish. Amp a rubbish source, you get an amplified rubbish sound.

Get a decent source first, then you can think about an amp.

I convert all my FLAC to ALAC.

Ipod + ALAC + L3 + E5 + Shure SRH 440 = Auwsommm output.

E11 out of batt, cannot test.

Charge it and test!!!

Can I change the OPAMP to make my E11 brighter? Since the TMA-1 is a bit dark. But I don't want it to change the awesome bass boost

FLAC and ALAC sound same on PC, no point compare.

no player can play both.. cannot compare also..

but ALAC and MP3 on Ipod, go some different.. with ALAC, everything so clear...
