QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 31 2011, 06:06 PM) 1st... a disclaimer. i see. thanx. i find bluetooth abit slow to transfer hd movies. loli can't be 100% sure about this kies thingy... ya? what is mentioned earlier and below is based on experience with sgs2. from reviews, sgn is just a bigger (and slightly faster) version of sgs2. samsung kies is meant to be installed on the notebook/ pc. after you install it, you can then supposedly use it to update the samsung phone firmware (when there's a new one). it should also install the drivers, etc to allow the notebook to detect the phone (and any memory card). samsung kies... download from samsung website. hope that helps. |

no lags at all for this phone except for drawing using the stylus, got like 1s lag. not very seamless. maybe because of the software itself, because HD 1080P video from my 5D MARK 2 plays well here. digital scrubbing lso no lag. VOICE ENABLED, not raw video with no voice
Added on October 31, 2011, 7:42 pmbattery wise i dont know yet. just used it for couple of hours. but my wifi is always on since my data usage already exceeded, seems like the consumption is very low OH BTW, voice talk needs internet connection ya! QUOTE(waveweaver @ Oct 31 2011, 08:19 PM) Yeah, for the time being still no custom rom available for Note but rooting can be done now. Reason - just for gaining access into your phone system. Using Titanium Backup app, you can backup all you app and freeze or uninstall any Samsung app you dont want/need. ill see how this thread goes first, because my hacking source is forums, but i hate the lengthy discussions in xda developers. just point me a tutorial or videotorial and ill get along with it. its not like i can sit around at home doing nothing. have to work |
