Only the warranty and a little bit different in the phone firmware. Normally the AP set comes from europe region so there's no chinese language in it.

That's depend whether any telcos got exclusive rights. Sometimes Samsung just announce/launch it product by itself without any telcos like the Wave family

I think OTG can be used to read 2.5" ext HDD but i never try it before :-(
And why did your screen on time is much lower when you use moderate usage mode? Most probably you have much activity going on while your phone sleep. Did you download BetterBatteryStats app.? That app can be used to check any wakelocks so you'll know which app is the culprit in draining your battery.
p/s - i suspect your gps, bluetooth and FB is the main culprit :-)

You can last much longer if you disable your gps, wifi and bluetooth. Enable it only when you need to use it. But no worries as it's just for testing purpose only :-)

An hour for full charge? You mean by using the original charger that come with the box.??

To track your battery or track apps that use your battery?
I used Android Assistant to keep track which apps is using how much battery %.
For battery itself, i used Solo Battery Widget just for easy monitor how much my % battery left. And also the temperatures :-)

Another rooted Note user. Now can do Nandroid backup already. Then download Titanium Backup, Root Explorer and Adblocker :-))

I wonder if they also sell SP and original flip casing on the launching day o_O
