so mean if compare the super amoled plus with hd super amoled, is the plus one have finer details, brighter and better energy efficient??
the "+" in SAMOLED+ refers to the improved subpixels alignment, which is the common RGB stripe instead of the pentile RGBG alignment, while the "HD" in HD SAMOLED refers to the resolution of the screen, but I'll assume they're back to using pentile alignment form SAMOLED, judging from several news site.
SAMOLED+ is suppose to have finer details compared to SAMOLED, however due to the huge difference in resolution that is on HD SAMOLED, I'll assume (because so far there isn't any device with HDSAMOLED that is out in the market yet) that HD SAMOLED will be crispier. HD SAMOLED is suppose to be the next generation of SAMOLED display, the next iteration would probably be HD SAMOLED+.
if it's true, its not very surprising, I've been saying this all along. The previous "high price" is due to people's direct conversion from Euro price, which is stupid.
oih don't call me stupid lah. how should i know malaysia price is lower than EU. i'm not some random teenageer that closely follow handphone market and change phone every 6 month. everything else (electronics) is priced higher than EU even when it's made in malaysia so i reckon it's the same as handphones.
first off, I don't mean to say "stupid" in a harsh manner, but more to being silly, secondly its not targeted specifically to you personally, but the act of doing so, thus you don't have to take it personally. This may seem no harm, but its misleading everyone. thirdly I'll apologize if you're offended as it is unintended.
i won't be surprised since the screen is not super amoled + but just a HD of super amoled.
i'm expecting samsung to pull a nice surprise similar to sgs2... i recall everyone was shocked to learn sgs2 would be selling at 2099 (or is it 2199, can't remember now) when everyone was guessing rm24xx onwards, based on the specs at that time...
you shouldn't be assuming the price simply because it doesn't have SAMOLED+, its not that big of a deal, really. If when SGS III comes out with HD SAMOLED+ next year I'll assume it still won't be anything near 2.5k.
if you were to compare SAMOLED on the original GS and SAMOLED+ GSII, the difference aren't THAT significant actually.
hmmm... the position of the pen in the phone... not very ideal right? would it drop off after a year or so of use -- it looks like its located at the bottom right -- can just fall off the phone?!?
