Hi all Alza bros, thanks for all the tips & reviews on tyre brands. I finally changed my crappy stock Silverstone Synergy M5 to Continental CC5 after 45000km shakehead.gif. The shop owner said since there's not much thread left on my M5 I can't trade them in. However, he included alignment, balancing & something else for RM200/tyre. So, my total damage is RM800.

I must say the ride after that is quieter with lesser coarse sound from the road. Riding over rough road was also a little softer. Overall, I'm satisfied with them.

Does anyone know if there is any blower (similar to the one in Avanza) which can be installed in Alza from any accessory shops? If there is I may want to install one so that the 3rd row seat will get more air.

Hi folks,

For anyone with steering and pedal vibrate when taking corner in rough road or hitting holes or bumps,  please go to subang jaya service center.

They will install a Orifice into your steering pump outlet hose. The process is less than 40 minutes.  Orifice will regulate oil flow to prevent steering rack loaded hence causing vibration.

I just got it done last saturday, surprisingly no more harsh vibration on unevent road and steering is smoother to turn.

Hope this help out.

If you need help on the plastic rattling sound, let me know. the cost of material is 60 bucks only to make it zero rattling.

Bro Delloyd79 did u hv ur car sent in to diagnose the problem before SA can place order for the part? Since we now know the problem, do u think we can just call up and hv it ordered right away without bringing in our car? Just trying to save a trip. Tks.

I had this sound occasionally when I was driving, a little sound (To me it sound like the distirbutor firing sound) after 1 - 1.5K RPM you can't hear it because the engine sound had overpower it.

Anyone encounter this before?
*
The last time mine has some sound between those RPMs is due to faulty water pump. It sounded more like rough engine sound. After having it replaced, everything a-ok.

really? the water pump needed to pump harder which is causing the sound?
the bad thing about cars these days is there is no temp gauge. it only lights up when it is already time to stop the car and cool down. so we won't know if our car was at this XX temp while new, and now it is YY temp after some years.

it is possible to install one but SC told me warranty void if i do it.
*
Yes but I'm not sure what exactly caused the sound. All the SC told me is a defective water pump.
