First of all, welcome to your worse nightmare... tongue.gif

Secondly... Wah...! very loaded... can waste money go install *bling bling*... brows.gif

First thing I'll do, I'll go waste money change all 4 donuts first... then do sound proofing... no offense to you bro, but showing off your car by installing bodykit will not gain you anything when the stock car drives uncomfortably... Kinda like the advert that's been currently on air over our radio networks - nice bodykits but car drives like shit becoz no proper maintenance...

I'll go for comfort and safety anytime over visual styling...
*
Agree with you bro..LOL.. I was thinking of changing the donut, but then kinda wasted if the tyre still new. Realized that my tyre is Silverstone. What soundproofing do Alza need to do? Any recommendation?

I am holding back my bodykit installation as just got the car need to try it first. Just installed Locktech and TRex steering lock on it.

For flooring and door panels I have the pictures. I didn't do the roof. Don't feel necessary.

How much is Locktech?
*
RM290 - Genuine locktech from Thailand with 3 years warranty. I installed it myself, else installation will cost another 50 bucks icon_rolleyes.gif

You can trade in your donut when they are still new.. higher trade-in value icon_idea.gif
*
Where to trade in bro? Mind to share some shop with high quality donut. Preferably genuine product instead of immitation. biggrin.gif

Guys,
I am curious what type of fuel did u use for your alza? I mean brand and RON?

Currently I am pumping Shell95.

I notice there's little sound like distributor between 1 - 1.4K RPM. Is this normal?

Just passed 3rd service where I changed iridium spark plug, 5W-40 semi at 11000KM.
I just installed stiffring into my subframe. Significantly reduce noise and improve handling especially when going through uneven road.

Anyone kind to share fuel type and mileage?

Yea i know, but i dont know any good shop selling those bodykit. I dont want to be a victim of an overprice seller.  Just wondering if anyone can recommend me a good shop with great price/service. smile.gif

I went to Airmaster to installed mine - RM1.5K. I have no complaint on their installation and in fact they didn't use any liner. The installation tack on to the body. Seemless.

what kind of sound is that?
im noticed little sound from engine between 1k-1.5rpm. someone said its defect.
sound like 'klok klok klok'. sound disappear after 1.5rpm
*
I had this sound occasionally when I was driving, a little sound (To me it sound like the distirbutor firing sound) after 1 - 1.5K RPM you can't hear it because the engine sound had overpower it.

Anyone encounter this before?

Guys what the maximum speed that you had done with alza before? I tried mine 180kmph on MEX

Mod on my daily driven alza:
1. Stiff ring - front and back
2. Pivot Megaraizin

that's all I done..

I am planning to install UR front strut and change my read ARB to 19mm.

The rest still stock.

anyone can comment is there any big different alza without abs n with abs ?

struggle between alza premium n alza s for 7 k diiference.
*
ABS better braking during the emergency. It saved me twice from whacking into another car when I was driving in the rain. Got for Premium if you can afford.

Stiff Ring total cost is RM420 but the effect is obvious than other mod - more steering response, quieter ride, much improved handling.

Pivot Megaraizin - brighter light, fuel saving, more quieter engine, responsive and smoother acceleration.

It's my daily driven car, confort is my first priority. Since I used it quite often for long distance drive, safety and handling came in second and last fuel saving.

My next upgrade might be Pipercross standard replacement filter and ultraracing front strut. Honestly, how effective is UR front strut? Anyone here can shed some light?

I am still using stock rim and tyres. My stock tyre is Silverstone. I found that after 23K on the road, silverstone tyre loosing grip and it's actually quite dangerous especially when the road is wet.

I read some user reviews on stiff ring vs autofoam. They both do the same thing, reduce noise, improve handling, improve chassis stability. One Hyundai Sonata fella did autofoam, then added the rings later, effects from the latter is nil...

Since my car already stuffed with foam, stiff ring effects might be negligible in this case. So I will forgo this.
*
The first thing I did when I got my new Alza is install stiff ring. Trust me the effect is immediate for small price that you pay. I am not sure about the foam as I as thinking of stuffing autofoam into the chassis. It's either if you installed the ring, and then autofoam, sure you won't feel the latter.
