Yes, kinda agree with spike. I not sure, mebbe my ears not so good but alza is as quiet as protong (except EFI priming is louder. Can hear it from inside the alza). I guess P2 have done some improvement on sound insulation on newer model. There is no zink roof noise (when heavy rain).

QUOTE(n8210 @ Mar 2 2013, 07:16 PM) I spoke to SC, but they don't do warranty claim on saturday, so have to visit them again on a normal day. damn... no free time to do unless wait until school holiday. Doesn't make sense. No need to apply glue. Glue will disolve when in contact with petrol. I think they didn't install it properly (middle of the month, salary all gone). No mood to work. Maybe all the good one were made during early weeks of the month But the SC told me it is basically because during production, the glue at the hose to the tank not yet dry completely and they continue on with the rest of the production. So when you fill full tank, then some / little bit of the petrol can back flow and go into cabin. Indeed, today I didn't fill full tank, so the petrol doesn't touches the hose connecting the tank, and therefore no more fumes inside cabin. This is what sort of workmanship? Did I took hefty loan to pay someone to ensure the glue didn't dry? That' why I go to SC during 1st. week of the month This post has been edited by emkay: Mar 3 2013, 10:25 AM |

QUOTE(kalvinwee @ Mar 5 2013, 10:32 AM) Definitely!!! Does changing to different brand brake pad void the warranty? With my previous proton car, I only change to the different model (allowed by proton). Don't want the car suddenly got problem, then the warranty all gone.every time up to genting, the middle seat can convert to sofa & enjoy cup of coffee.. btw i had change AFI brakepad, after down genting few time i feel unsafe with AFI brake pad, now using Bendix, it never let me down!! i wld recommend bendix, less dust.. |

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Mar 7 2013, 09:25 PM) Let me guess, this must have something to do with some bugger spamming me pm with his Orsen product... you got spammed? Than it's too bad. I installed boxbe (email blocker) so no spamming for me but I still like to know the product prrformance. If it is good, I would like to install it |

It is sad that P2SC is not adequetly equipped. There should be a standard testing/diagnosting equipments in place. There is testing equipment for suspension system without the need to drive the car on the road.

Buying car depend on your luck. Getting Honda or VW doesn't mean that you get problem free car. It'll you drive you crazier :)

QUOTE(sfotsy @ Apr 20 2013, 06:20 PM) well...yes it is true indeed, it is my rotten luck on getting a brand new car that with my front engine low arm side that i can heard a hard kok kok kok sound, front of my driver side. Guess what happened? I went to my usual Foreman that whom is expert on Perodua car, he straight can know what is happening to my car? It is something loosen that the QC side that do not tighten. Don't expect any manufacturers to do 100% QC on all products that come out of their factories (except maybe Roll Royce). My bro in law used to work as service engineer in one of local japanese car. He told me even CKD japanese cars got problems. Each model have their own problems. Just hope that SC manage to rectify the problems permanently. I had my share of problematic local car before, so I don't expect too much from them.Is this call Depend on my luck? I think this is not i agree 100% as I urge Perodua have really Serious with your QC, However the SC Quality service i still do not know yet. Wait till after my 1st 1000Km service then i will update my feelings how is my opinion on Perodua. |

QUOTE(tiensong @ Apr 24 2013, 02:26 PM) I admit I am the 'luckiest' guy in the world because my brand new alza petrol tank leaking.... OK la, seems LUCK is very difficult to measure. We use the term 'Probability'. Since there is no 100% QC, you have to accept there will be x% out of the production will be lemon. Bro, please don't always say LUCK...If you are car manufacturer, and you sell your car and hope your customers have great LUCK by not getting a bad car from you? I agree that Honda and VW has problem car too but the level of QC definitely much more higher than Perodua... So, your statement should change to "Buying car depend on the brand (reputable) and quality of the manufacturer"... |
