dei... wake up lar.... doh.gif doh.gif

ppl "ketuk" for the quality issue, not "ketuk" to rival whatever brands that comes into your freaking mind...

If you have not owned the first batch of the Alza, then don't try to be smart and raise the points that you don't understand... Value for money is shit when you cannot value your own time going in and out of SC and the lives of countless other road users should Alza farts out whatever parts whenever it suited them...

Thamby,

Just because you got a lemon or shitty unit, that does not means everyone else have to suffer or alza is piece of shit. It's irrelevant of being first batch or last, problems can cough up. if it grieve you so much sell it off and cut the losses and you live longer too.

I don't know about others, but perodua car have been the most trouble free cars I have ever bought and owned.

This joker Eithanius has been condemning Alza for years now, before I bought my Alza he already condemning it, then welcome me with his stupid nightmare phrase. Now my Alza 1 year old with no problems, he's still here condemning it.

He should be the moderator of this thread la, I believe he really loves his Alza very much if not he won't bother checking this thread everyday.

I totally agree with gamenoob, my Alza is my first Perodua, it's way better than my Peugeot and Protons I have owned previously. Not to mention, their service center is top class with good customer service.

Peugeot's SC nowhere near Perodua's service level.

Wait until you ride on your fifth then only comment lar... TlU...!

And don't compare Peugeot... You know who manages their sucky SCs...

For Perodua, you get top class when your car has no problems... wait until your car comes with tonnes of problems and warranty claims, they'll avoid you like a plague...

I posted pics on that few pages back... Don't know how they find their way into my alza front doors.... doh.gif

I removed them since they interfere with my other soundproofing solutions and blocked road noise from dissipating off the cabin...

Mine's not a complete 4-door set... A piece most probably covers 1/3 of a single door, and they used only 1 each for both front doors... Got some other pieces cut into smaller parts sticking here and there. I don't even know why it's there in the first place... Previously when I went SP my car, they weren't there... A year later went back did some adjustment on SP then only found out got Perodua Hesovi material sticking on my doors...

I think one of the alza owners here (or was it you?) got apply Hesovi material, but improvement is negligible. Mine does more damage than good - trap road noise in the cabin, so I removed them...

Aiya its all up to how you plead your case la. Just because customer is king no need to act like one. Humility and humbleness can get many return.

For example my myvi front disc brake was replaced under warranty on 4th year. My EWP cert was like missing also. But another lowyat taiko went to complain and bang table kbkb could not get any. I offer to go to the service center with him but he won't dare to show. Don't know what happen but they complain a lot la.

And yes eithanius joker welcome me with the nightmare of Alza when I want to buy a year ago... rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Actually I have bought kenari, kelisa, kancil, myvi, and now Alza. They all great. Very minimal hassle. My other car supposively more expensive have worst customer experience and more problematic.... cool.gif

Pity our eithanius stuck with the limau..... shakehead.gif

Hi all, I'm planning to get an Alza Premium Auto (Solid White). Now, my SA offer me RM3000 cash discount + free safety tinted (can choose which brand prefer), but must register the car in this month.

Do you guys think it is worth? Or I should go for 2013 car coz it is going to year 2013 after 2 weeks? My SA told me mostly they will not have any cash discount in early of the year (Jan-May).

Please advise.

Another delloyd79 in the making... doh.gif Does anyone actually know that assumption is the mother of all f***ups...? shakehead.gif shakehead.gif

What makes you think i go bang table at them...? I dun shout at these ppl knowing they also having a hard time especially from P2 HQ itself, salary stagnation and the crap... Nevertheless, I have never received complete and satisfactory solutions from P2... It's all about the tidak apa attitude in Bolehland...

Like I said, 4 cars no problem, they treat me like king... It takes one problematic car and you're a plague to be avoided... Is this top-class service that gunsnroses was talking about...? And just recently my myvi has parts that needed to change under warranty, and they promised a month to get back to me... 2 months passed, they still haven't call me... And gunsnroses says this top-class...? Many times I will have to call back to enquire about updates... And guess what... This is also from the USJ1 3S SC that people have been recommending around... Just what the heck are they doing with their customers and services database...?

If you wanna say more expensive cars also have problems and service sucks, I have to disagree with your statement... because P2 is NO BETTER than them...

Btw, I'm in service line (and tired of it), and I don't believe that "customer is king" crap philosophy... Wanna have good service, they need to have consistent SOP and honestly research and solve issues... P2 does not even qualify for those... It's only a money-raking company, end of story... Humility and humbleness...? It doesn't pay well in service line. Go play god...

I recommend against buying it, regardless of 2012 or 2013... Pick another car... People have been saying Alza, value for money, but to me, value for money is shit when value for services is nil... And those who said RV is good, dream on... whistling.gif

If you insist on buying it, welcome to your worst nightmare... but don't say I didn't warn you... brows.gif

Actually I have read through all the post in this thread. I understand your case and your feeling. But as my budget is only around 60k, there is not much choices/options for me. I used it as family car and for me to go work only. If I have higher budget, I definitely not buying local car, and go for Japanese or Korean car. Personally, I love Europe car, the handling and the comfort of the car, I never comment/complaint about it.

Now that could be a problem if you like or rather got used with contis... handling, comfort, quietness... All of which are absent on the Alza... Have you tried sourcing used cars...? Most of my friends are now aware of how sucky local cars are and they sourced pre-loved imported cars instead... I regretted buying this car and wished I had did the same.

I don't know why but I suspect your SA could be desperate about hitting year end commission or bonuses or something... But 3k is ok for me, though not enough to offset the RV... Money saved can be used to change the damn noisy tyres, stuff in some soundproofing material, and add a strut bar or foam the car chassis for added ride comfort... I've already spent 4.5k on these, and waiting to spend another 3k to finish the job... All these for Perodua's false impression of "It's a Passion" motto... You may spend a lot less on these if you know how to DIY...

And make sure you allocate enough time to go in and out of service centers... in case the gearbox dies, or whatever problems (that might occur) that are listed on the first post of this thread...
