It will definitely void warranty. If something goes wrong you won't be able to claim anything. Not even consumer tribunal can help you.

That's why I said that it's OK if nothing goes wrong. Once things messed up you are on your own. Simple things as making the aircon water hose longer they have to wait for instruction from HQ. Changing your standard rim to other will void the warranty.

Havw anyone tried the bluetooth. I tried it but it only work ok when answering call. Tried making call via but the other side couldnt hear my voice. Any ideas?

There is no problem when I tried it with SE K810i (calling and receiving call). Funny thing is that, in the user manual stated that the usage of bluetooth is only for receiving call.

WTH? But how come it work fine when I use SE K810i to make call?

Yes it is true but I don't see the logic behind it. Was told that the reason behind it to avoid occupants get trapped inside in case of accident. If that reason is true, then JPJ must come out with instruction to have it remove from all vehicles including older model.

Maybe disc brake wrapped. The other thing is since the brake is ABS, there is pulsing pressure that contribute to kloking sound

Mine difficult to open (passenger side). Driver's side feel nice to open & close but my previous persona is much better. Persona doors are nicely weighted. Alza's doors is too light but it needs more force too close it (mebbe becoz it still new).

The bluetooth can't find my wife newly bought sony tipo. But the sony found my neighbour samsung S3 bluetooth signal and the radio also found the S3 too.

Oops my bad. Managed to pair sony tipo with the radio. Got to put the radio into bluetooth pairing mode 1st. But the sony tipo doesn't detect it as PERODUA, there is some kinda numbers got displayed instead (in the tipo)

Just arrived in kepala batas from KL. This is 1st. long distant driving in the alza. Few surprises. NVH is better than my previous persona. Only at certain sections of the highway where the vibration is not good (concrete highway). Vibration felt on steering wheel & seat. Not sure due to suspension or the tires pressure.

RPM is lower (110kmh @ almost 3000rpm) vs. Persona (MT) 110kmh@3100rpm.
FC only managed 8.3L/100km(Less than 3000rpm) vs. Persona 6.1L/100km@100kmh/3000rpm. Aircon wasn't that good (bigger interior space to be cooled) but blower noise is lower.

I went to tanjung dawai, kedah. It just a normal asphalt road but the road noise was crazy. I thought there was something wrong with the gearbox or something but tbe noise suddenly gone after I past that stretch. One the highway it is so smooth. Can barely hear the engine or road noise. (Except on those concrete stretch)

Back to KL, FC average was 7.3/100km. One more thing that I like is seating position. My legs wasn't tired at all but what I don't is the lack of back support. On normal car, my legs kinda stretch forward and the seat don't support my legs (from under my thigh). So, I have to support it using the thigh muscle. In Alza, my legs are downward and I can rest my legs on the feets. Seated in semi-hunch position and created discomfort around my abdomen area (below the ribs cage)

Too much engine oil can cause sluggishness and harm the engine.

Alza wheelbase is the same as innova at 2750mm. Same horsepower as livina at 104. Not sure what does Kg/Nm for. Is it power to weight ratio?

With all the negative reviews that I read, I was afraid to buy alza too but because I have no other choice to fit the budget, I bought the alza. Currently it has done more than 2000Km. Done long distant too. Thank God, there is no major or those problems reported affecting my alza. Hopefully it stay problems free. Looking at my case, there is no problem for me to recommend other ppl to buy alza but like I said. It's all depend on your luck.

As for road noises, alza is quieter than my previous persona. Maybe not as good as honda city and such. Ride is definitely bumpier (firmer spring to accommodate xtra load). Not so bad if full passenger + luggage

IMHO the suspension setting is already too firm for driving solo. With spring coil buffer, I think it will be worst unless your car is always full of passenger al the time.

Have anyone wonder where the passenger side air bag is? There is no 'area' indicator like myvi, avanza etc.

Regarding the SC. Are those services provided by authorised SC any good? Near my place there are many authorised SC but I 'm sure how good they are. Anyone got experience with them (any authorised SC)
