No one saying what you can or cant do... having said that, if you think and act like a kid, then expect to be treated as one...

Beside on the same logic, if you don't like to be responded and label as childish  grumble.gif ... then....you need to be more mature and grow up...la.. icon_idea.gif
*
What's the f***ing problem with you...? I voice my problems, you label me as childish... Why are you attacking me...? Have I done anything wrong to offend you...?

If not, then just stay quiet and contribute to the thread, you don't need to attack ppl just like that by labeling others as being childish. Who's being childish here...? It is because of you ppl with the "tidak apa" attitude that's contributing to Perodua's lackadaisical attitude towards their brand and customer service.

There's even more ppl in the Alza forum complaining about various Alza issues. Are you gonna label them childish as well...?

And so what if I'm childish...? You're better off messing with your own wife and kids than to care too much about the people posting here being childish...

Oopss... step on some nerve.... dude... take a chill pill and just look at your Alza problem objectively and perhaps you will understand why you come across as being childish. You may not  think you are, but the way you put it across certainly come as one...
*
Then I seriously suggest you consider other models, better still other brands of cars. Who knows, if you get an Alza, very likely you will encounter my problems, and then you'll start becoming childish like me...? Being a family man like yourself, I'm sure you can afford something better for your wife and children (if you have them). Unlike me a childish kid who cannot afford big cars, I can only afford lousy cars, hence a lousy childish attitude... whistling.gif

Don't say I didn't save your ass from plunging your money for god-knows-what...

QUOTE(gamenoob @ Sep 15 2011, 05:34 PM)
I have owned almost all P2 car except for Rusa, Kembara, and Alza for last 15 yrs. Some bought for sister, mom, and wife.. and they have never failed me.

Wife only wanted small car for easy parking and low maint. I love the Myvi too when I go pasar malam or KL downtown where too many fender bender...

For the price, and having own many other car, you have a more realistic view on what is reasonable expectation and what not. I have seen my buddy BMW needed a new engine, GB, and what not... and constant niggling factors... ECU failure, ratting pillar, creaking seats,..... horrible ride for the family and what not...

I have always received great service and repair from P2. They even replaced my front disc on the 4th year... when I ask them to...

Given the history and ownership record, I'm sure no issue but they always lemon anyway. Heck even in Myvi forum there are plenty of whiners too...but why they still buying it... same goes with Alza...
*
If you wanna compare, yes I have also owned and driven 4 other Perodua car for the last 8 years, starting with the Kembara, and 3 MyVis, two of the pre-FL, and the recent FL version. If you doubt my story, you can check my previous posts. I have no or less problems with those cars. My Alza is the fifth, so as you can see, it is because of my previous purchase history (and like you) that I went for the Alza in CASH.

Boy imagine how wrong I was when the problems came cropping up one by one. It has given me nightmares, worse was the gearbox change that left my car stranded for more than a month. And I'm not alone, read around and you get same problems with other Alza owners. My fifth car with Perodua, I felt like my trust for Perodua has been misplaced.

I've even heard rumors that Alza QC suffered because Perodua rush production just to meet datelines to compete with Exora. If that's the case, then Perodua owes us an explanation for that poor QC on the Alza. I would even wanna bet on the QC for the 2nd-gen Myvis suffers as well. Both me and Perodua tech guys have grown tired of each other over my endless complaints now that they tell to return only when my third service comes, and that comes from those people in Perodua HQ Rawang. Is that the kind of service you expect...?

If you wanna buy Alza, reconsider. If you are adamant about it, welcome to your worse nightmare. People say forget about Perodua fixing your problems, and mod or DIY to perfection. How much are you willing to spend on that...? I've spent 4 grands on sound-proofing alone coz I have sensitive ears, I'm a major in audio...

Went to service my MyVi in Perodua HQ Rawang this morning, I guess my Alza's famous for being problematic that some service advisors knew (and probably blacklisted) my number plate already... whistling.gif

Even surprisingly, their records shows my car absorbers were changed without me knowing nor complaining it.... I really wonder what else in my car did they changed without my knowledge... doh.gif

Currently testing petrol consumption brows.gif

For RON95, I prefer Petronas becoz powerful, more mileage and not noisy, but their oil pump is not consistent. Some petrol station gives good and clean petrol, some like water tak boleh pakai.

So far I found the good Petronas station is after sungai besi tol to KL, the first Petronas station on left before turning into sri petaling. The other 1 is seremban petronas station, opposite the terminal 1.

Still pending for more research to wait for more consistent result brows.gif
*
Last time I tried Petronas, a little bit powerful, but no mileage improvement. Then again my first and last, thanks to some Indon hired by that el-cheapo station. Asked for full tank (knowing my car can go beyond RM 60) with RM 50 at the cashier, they gave me RM 50 worth of fuel only. Had to screw them in front of so many ppl. "Tak paham apa tu full tank kah...?" They purposely limit me to RM 50 because they takut I run away with the excess. No more f***ing Petronas for me. Went back to Esso/Mobil. whistling.gif

Now trying BHP since many ppl claimed there's improvement on mileage, some more now got contest until Nov... brows.gif

How's BHP then? brows.gif
*
Baru first time try. Before filling with BHP, was with Esso. Previous tank did 420km with 106km range left. Just refill, did 386km with 186km range left. Not a good comparison yet coz 80% city drive, 20% highway. Previous tank 95% and 5% respectively. Have to wait until the car comes back, refill a few round baru tau... brows.gif Car masuk kilang again tomorrow... doh.gif

Aiya, 450km is very good already la. Not yet a bull, maybe a calf. I'm the real bull. I hardly reach 400km. Just something close to 400km, maybe +/- 380km. But the thing is, only sometimes I hit until 3000rpm going uphill. Most of the time on 2000rpm only. I cannot figure out why my mileage so low.
*
How you guys measure...? Refill to refill...? How much of range left...? blink.gif

Me average 420km city drive if range down to about 100km, and I don't think it will go for another 100km. I've tried asking P2 guys to see how far can they go, they don't even know... My max was 463km...

Anyway, just came back from service, my car tak jadi masuk kilang coz no replacement car for me. Have to wait until they're available... rclxub.gif

Damn sien lar see this piece of trash. Everytime have to take leave, waste time go service center and show them all the problems.

Might be you need to try other petrol? brows.gif
is rite this

When u pump full oledi, reset the meter and run. On the second pump, use the mileage and divide with petrol you just pump. E.g. Ur mileage recorded for the first pump is 400km. On second pump you fill 35 litre. Use this 400km divide by 35 litre and times 42 litre. Why? Becoz you just use this 35 litre to run 400km. Times 42 litre shall be the full tank petrol consumption. brows.gif
*
What's the point of "times 42 litre"...? rclxub.gif

Anyway, normal plugs and iridium plugs don't seem to have any performance differences, not even a noticeable one. Just installed it today when servicing my car.

Haha thanks for your advise. I have test driven it on the same day and when compare to my current saga blm this is a clear winner for me. I have a colleague of mine which is a quite a happy Alza user maybe his luck getting a problem free one. As for the sound insulation haha i think this Alza is around the same if not better than my saga blm ya you did hear the roof when it rain heavily but i already get used to it  sweat.gif

I'm not so concern about the sound insulation thing, my main concern is on the engine and suspension. Hopefully I will get a problem free Alza too  rolleyes.gif BTW I have place my booking on the Medallion Grey at last hehe.
