Hah, I understand what you mean. I have the same problem with my van. But the van is more than 10 years old. Right now I am trying to get this fixed. But quite difficult because it only happens when the temp is high. So that means I have to drive until the temp is very hot, then only can go mechanics there to show them. But always, when I am free can go mechanics there, the weather is cooler, or the engine temp is not so hot. So the "problem" does not appear.
Anyhow, I forgot to mention, when we open the van carburator yesterdya, it was very dirty. All black inside. So we used chemical spray to clean it. It shows the Esso BRP that I have been using to pump RM3,010 worth of petrol (from smiles point record) is giving me "dirty" oil.

I want to show off.... show off my rusty dusty. P2 service center told me to put the car there for 3 days and they will:- -use sand paper to remove the rust -then repaint the area
And my battery RIP today. When they check, they told me wife the battery totally empty. So they check the alternator, but it can charge properly. So...??? Can charge but battery empty? Me wife ended up buying the P2 MF battery for RM190.
Added on February 16, 2012, 10:11 pmAnyone know what is the maximum load for Alza? Can I add 500kg? Hehehe....

E, I have solved my jerking with aircon problem on my van, not Alza, cos my Alza don't hv such prob. Attached is a not so good contact point. I don't know what was replaced inside, but my mechanic told me he installed "white gold" contact point. Now it starts like a new car, runs like one, perhaps even faster than Alza. Pick up stronger than ever before... so obviously no more jerking when I full blast the aircon until my fake teeth comes out.

QUOTE(Eithanius @ Feb 25 2012, 07:14 PM) I never said the PS3s were bad... As a matter of fact it's way quieter and less vibration compared to the SS M5s... But without treatment on floor, firewall, and fender it is still noisy on coarse roads... Nevertheless resurfaced roads are a nice glide on the PS3s, soothing to my ears... Too bad Malaysian roads are not always the case... Speaking of noise, I also need to tackle the engine noise when it goes above 110kph... That thing struggles when it comes to that speed, so traveling outstation is not comfy on the Alza... Yah, stuck at the same situation with XM tyres. Engine noise above 110kph. Aircon also... now I'm thinking should I change, go test drive the new Avanza.

ya.... must mention size of tyre with price, otherwise can get very confusing.
anyway, rubber price is always fluctuating. i think there is more rain this year, so price of rubber should go up because harvest is less. also china stock up a lot of rubber each year, that drives rubber prices up too. luckily gloves industry now uses less rubber because synthetic rubber market / demand is increasing year after year, also with the help of lower / more competitive synthetic rubber prices. but china alone, imagine their need for shoes, tyres, gloves, tubes, and other rubber products... millions of it. Then we have India, Brazil... although rubber trees came from Brazil, but nowadays Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia produces the most rubber in the world.

Hmm.... got feedback. M5 in low "depression" now. Not many customers interested in M5, that's the reason for the low price. Now for lower price range, there are many brands and quality, from nearby Indon and Thai brands, also from far China and Korea.
I guess it says a lot about local companies, which supposed to have lower setup cost, lower transport cost, lower material cost, but after add in their CEO cost, management cost, annual dinner cost, travelling cost, company car cost, luxury escape cost, hamper and gifts cost, other hidden cost... malaysian products becomes more expensive than imports!!
No wonder my car cost so much, my house cost much more!!
