IF the above 2 are allowed, we will have a 4-4-1-1 formation. Well, I understand that players do run and interchange a lot but the basic positioning in formation should be defined too.

Overall, new players such as Arteta, Per and Benayoun were very convincing and clearly showed the difference (when compared to our current crop of players); especially Arteta and Benayoun for their EPL experiences. For these 2 players, I would say that they require zero transition in adapting the EPL games - which is good as they need more time to adapt on Arsenal football and where the players run to.


Yes, Fabregas is no longer our player. Let's forget about him (and also Nasri, Eboue, Bendtner, Vela, etc). Let's not comparing him to other players. We are assembling a new team with the mixture of experience and youth; something that the fans are looking forward to. This is the best AW has done for us as of now (although many will argue that he could do better - which I agree too, but we cannot turn back the time).

Let's just focus on the current team, give them full support and discuss about them only

I think Frimpong is doing alright, maybe just too inexperience in deciding what is the right time to do the right thing.

He has the potential to be the "bad guy" shielding our back 4. But I agree that he's still raw. Yet, the potential is there.
