Hi all, i just asked for n55 i5 @ pczone lowyat but no stock. They said next week n55 will come with new 2430 processor. Is this true? Than i'm gonna wait for that la.

Hahaha... Cannot tahan waiting until next week... Just got myself n55 i7 @dfusion digital mall hehehe... First i try the i5 version, but got frustated with the matte screen. Seems the colour too harsh. I compared side by side with the i7 glossy screen, on i5 version picture of koala looks more "red". This will be difficult for me as i'm using it for photo editting too.

So count me in this club too... Hahahaha..

True.. Try compare same picture, both model side by side and you'll see how different matte really is. I changed my mind last minute ;-) lucky the seller tested the i5 beside displayed i7. Fuhh....

sigh... i think my n55 i received is not "virgin" anymore... in the installed programs, there is a google chrome software preinstalled? i think this is not one of the bundle software right? and i can't even unistall or delete it !!!!!! furthermore, i can't switch off my wifi with Fn+F2 button, can't turn off touchpad with Fn+F9....

Now i'm doing the system restore using recovery partition, and finally the wifi indicator turn off. lets see whats the result after this... huhuhuhu...

when first time open it seem like new, have to set up language, username, time and all. i didn't check the programs.

lucky, now already finish recover, and can use all functions. friendly reminder to all, please take time as long as you want before making purchase, thank god it is not a hardware problem

I also experienced the same. BD drive sounds like reading something but there was no dvd inside. Quite annoying...

Speaker seems fine for me.

If you're going to do a lot of photo editing, i don't recommend you n55 i5 version, because the screen is using matte instead of glossy. If got chance, try to compare side by side with n55 i7 glossy screen you'll the difference in the colour. For me, i think n55 i5 colour looks harsh, more "red". Will be in trouble especially if you're going to print the picture you edited. Well. just my opinion. Try n see for yourself.
