Probably this problem is because of N45 power brick problem and maybe it is not really 90W if you can find even another 90W power brick from another laptop test it.
I have one but I am not sure that is 90W or not but I will check it.

if 90W the output should be 19V 4.47A. But anyway i don think its our power brick faulty, coz N55sf also uses exactly the same power brick. So if Asus were to produce surely they will produce together one right. The culprit i think is something inside our laptop

Easier way, asus change all n45sf to n55sf. Dream is a dream @@

The first page mentioned that N55 can support up to 16GB.
But from www.asus.com.my, it only stated up to 8GB.
Which one is correct????

N53SN able to support up to 16GB and hopefully same with N55

i think before u guys could fully utilise 16gb ram, your laptop already outdated...so, i suggest instead of 16gb, use the money to change the harddisk..what i've seen on this model, the only weakness is the harddisk..gpu issues on n45 is different case..
