My old Acer on 24/7 for few weeks.Then shutdown and let it rest for a day.Repeats the cycle.Using only direct current (power adapter).Survived 4 years.Gone case few weeks back and replaced with N55SF.Suspect hard disk failure coz i always use it as a download rig

If u dont wan CCCP,u can try k-lite mega codec pack.It's bundled with a media player + a lot of codecs.U can play rmvb,wmbv,avi,mkv and etc.

No buzz sound or watever graphic problem but there's one minor but frustrating problem which i mentioned before.
When i watch movie,if there's Facebook notification or MSN notification sound....my speaker will "Bam" and lowers down the volume level to minimum....i have to close the media player and reopens it.Kinda irritating..happens to me few times adi although it's quite random.
