if ur proc is at 798mhz... ur doing ntg.. just play song.... browsing.... then suddenly u open something extreme big.. like opening Matlab.. or wateva..... song will stutter a bit.... as if the cpu response is nt fast enuf to rev up to 2.6ghz... hmmm .. any thoughts??

in my exp.....

i awiz clock my i5 at 1.7ghz max.... no affect on gaming performance... haha.... temps are low also. 71+-.. XD

at high , max.. means turbo boost enabled... it could reach 91 92.... but i use throttlestop to auto control my temps.. when it reaches 85 above. auto throttle to 2.3ghz. disable turbo boost.. XD... by then it wil cool down.. then throttlestop will enable turbo boost again. XD...

best of both worlds... u got ur max cpu clock when needed.. and u got auto temp control. XD.... above 85???? miahhaaha.. disable turbo boost.. XD



i'd recommend this to all users hu feel insecure of their 9X temps.. XD... (but dun worry.... rated at 100 celcius to throttle.... 100+++++++ till shut down. XD, so. u wun fry ur lappy...)
