Even if the Arteta (or any other big name signing) deal is officially off (still got few hours to go) I hope you guys don't put all the blame on AW. The board is messed up. There's an article few days a go that says that the board that is reluctant to fund AW with the resources he wants. That article seems to carry some weight as Nanas have revealed recently...
