I'm just sharing this here as I thought it'll be appropriate if I apologize here, sincerely from the bottom of my heart.

Just now a pre-facelift (2006) white non-SE Myvi no. plate BJW (dun remember number) with yellow HID foglamps, black hood and black boot handle, stock front and rear bumper with sport rims driven by a malay guy with ponytail and piercings on his right lip and ear (if I remembered correctly) chased me near the stretch in front of Wangsa Maju LRT station.

It all happened like this:

I was rushing to my friend's house at Section 2 cos got some important stuff, so I cut the queue to turn in front at the TARC cross junction towards Wangsa Maju. As the the traffic light turned green, I was turning in and I slowed down to let a Honda Accord in front turn in first. Then when I was about to turn in this Myvi suddenly accelerate & turn in, almost hitting my PE. Nevermind, I thought. And as I was still rushing, I was quite erratic and overtook that Myvi before cutting in front of him. At the straights he couldn't quite catch up with me (probably it's a Myvi 1.0, not too sure either). Then there's traffic in front of me and I slowed down, he catched up. Then started winding down window & waving a silver bat. At the cross junction at Section 2, there was traffic in front of me, and he overtook me from the inside & emergency braked, blocking my car and then got down from his car with his bat. I was really in no mood for a fight, and I knew it was my fault for cutting queue, but that's about it.

So I reversed, turned out from that block and turned into my friend's housing area. Lost him for a while there, then went fetch my friend. As we came out from the junction, we saw him waiting there. He then blocked again and got down again. I wind down the window, said that I'm sorry cos I'm in a bit of a rush, and he asked me to get down from the car. Obviously picking a fight with me. I see the small gap in front of his car, turned towards that gap and accelerated out of Section 2. He got into his car and wanted to chase, but I wagged him off my tail by turning into some junctions in the area.

The fault is mine, I know. But this is really a very important matter that I had to rush. Life and death.

So if the White Myvi driver is here reading this, you have my sincerest apologies. I did not meant to offend you in any possible way. If possible, let's meet up, drinks on me.

Again, sorry for intruding, and hope you guys understand my motive of posting here today.

Yeah. I know it's my fault, that's why I'm apologizing here. It's not about keeping this in heart or not. I just don't like having other people keeping grudges against me.

@Xandras - Dam! Luckily your okay. Road bullies everywhere. Especially TARC area.
Guessing your a tarc student?
Well its seriously a small matter. like what yhlim said, a simple sorry is enough.
Anyway, be careful while your driving in that area. The way he blocked you and stuff reflects his vengeful. He might target u next time.
*
No, I'm not a TARC student. Just happened to be in that area. I did apologized, and he didn't wanna listen. Still continued to want to pick a fight with me, what else can I do or say? Just leave that place.

Yeah, yeah. I know it's my fault in the first place, but why the road rage? Still, I'm apologizing again as a gesture of politeness.

i think something is wrong with that fella.. if he use his bat to hit u. most important is. dont hit him back. because he already offended you.

tell him now u wan to follow me to police station or we settle this in a polite manner.

thats it.
*
Settle this in a polite manner? I don't think he is in the state of being able to properly reason.

Sometimes, deep inside me there is a wish of hiding a parang in the car for dire states like this, but then logic caught up and I'm out of my dream again. laugh.gif

u are not allowed a parang.. but u are allowed a bat. if police cakap apa2.. u can say this is for self defense.. i don think it is wrong..
*
Nope.. Not even a bat.. smile.gif No weapon of any sort are allowed in the car.. Which is why many resort to carrying bat-shaped steering locks instead.. I have one in my car which doesn't fit my steering at all doh.gif

yah..any kind of metal rod or bat are not allowed..
bt the sterring lock which in the shape of baseball bat should be helpful in case of any unwanted incidents such as mentioned above happen..

altho not allowed.. my family members car.. and all sorts of stuff got bat inside car wan..

as long as it is well hidden by the seat area.. shud be no problem.. its not like ur gonna use it to wack ppl or something..

for women.. i encourage them to put at least 1 in it..if don have also.. keep smaller umbrellas..can take out at ease..
*
My dad used to have a thick bat made from rattan, about 1 foot long, kept under his seat. But he removed it. Why?

Weapons are pretty much double sided, especially for ladies. Yeah, u might think it's ok to keep one as a measure of safety, but what happens in the event the assailant got hold of your weapon instead?

The best self defence is still some knowledge in martial arts. Planning to pick up either jujitsu or aikido, but both ain't cheap to begin with.

Wash with soap, polish it off then only touchup la.. Sure cannot see d wan.. Anyway I've had an identical damage like that before, mudguard & respray that portion will cost u around RM 150..

QUOTE(Area51SE @ Nov 10 2011, 04:06 PM)
Wow, Well it's your fault but then he doesn't have to act in such a barbarian way lol. So uncivilized. You actually made the right choice to just drive away rather than getting down and have a fight with him.
Drive carefully next time ya Bro. Still a new car smile.gif Take care of it  tongue.gif  Anyways the repair cost shouldn't be expensive. Can't really estimate how much for you
*
Exactly. I made my apologies, it's up to him to accept it or not. Let him go home and sleep on it, then only he'll understand.

8 speakers? lolx.
front will be 4" and 6", rear another pair of 6". Where u put another pair?
haha.
2 woofers in a myvi? wow o_o
cannot put stuffs in the boot then tongue.gif
*
Cut the rear boot deck behind the seats and install another pair of 6x9 speakers there. laugh.gif

The woofers that I used last time were flat woofers. Rockford Fosgate slim woofers. So there's still adequate amount of room for a suitcase laugh.gif
