Why when i plug in my pendrive to play some audio files,it cant produce any sound?(SE1.5)Is it normal ?

ya..i did play .mp3 n wma song,bt no sound came out.juz the screen thr show the details of song(album,artist) while the time keep progressing.
Can u guys make it?
