Facing some FC's when Link2SD is in Auto. After installing it, proceeded to install some apps. Installed Papago first then L2SD did its work but after linking, I tried to open Papago it FC. I installed it again and then it worked.

Faced the same thing when I tried Sygic but this time, it just didn't want to open. It kept FC'ing. I unchecked Auto Link and re-installed Sygic and then I managed to run the app.

Anyone else with this kinda issue? For now, I have un-checked Auto Link sad.gif

Even tho it's in Chinese, but I can roughly figure out the menus. Some apps are in Chinese language but most are English thumbup.gif

Open Link2sd, go to > menu > more >>>> Relink library files and also >>>Link dalvik-cache files. Your internal memory should be restored back to normal.

With Link2sd, the internal memory normally remains stable no matter how many apps you installed, EXCEPT system apps which are stored in the phone's memory. System apps are default launcher, contacts, calculators, default camera....etc., etc. These apps shouldn't be removed unless you know how to replace them with another similar app like default launcher with another launcher.

I did a re-partition using CWM and I only realized just now that the partition is ext3 and not 4. Is this typical? I think thats why I was having issues with my L2SD. I set it to ext4.

Added on September 9, 2011, 5:02 pmWhen you 1st install L2SD, you are made to chose an option of the 2nd partition. Which do you set it to, ext3, ext4 or FAT32? Sry still a noob with this sad.gif

Hey Folks,

Want to make your RAM to the best optimization? This means the best balance between free memory, multitask, speed of launching apps and system speed.  Your system and switching between apps or launching apps will be very fast.

Read/Link/Tutorial here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...249&postcount=1

If you're not familiar with Root Explorer, here's the step by step guide :

1) Download the S97 Ramscript.
2) Extract it with 7zip.
3) Copy the extracted S97 Ramscript to the root of your sdcard.
4) Open Root Explorer.
5) Go to > system/etc/init.d
6) Press > Menu > Bookmarks >SD Card.
7) Search for the S97 Ramscript and Long press it.
8) Press Move
9) Press back button.
10) (You will be directed back to the Root Explorer > /system/etc/init.d) Press top right > Mount R/w
11) Paste (paste the S97 Ramscript from the sd card).
12) Long press the S97 Ramscript and select > Permissions. Tick all. (If it [root explorer] doesn't allow it, press the top right > Mount R/w again and you'll be able to set the permission.
13) Exit Root Explorer.
14) Reboot.

Done and enjoy more/higher Ram on your phone which will give you much much more smoothness and faster response. You'll immediately feel the difference after you've inserted the S97 Ram script.

Can the S97ramscript be applied for other android devices? I have a China generic Android Tablet running Android 2.2. So just curious if it will be ok for that? drool.gif

There's nothing wrong. It means your ext4 dalvik-cache is in use. You'll have to wipe dalvik-cache to manually format.

Hey Folks,

Try ADW Ex launcher which I'm using, better than ADW free version and smoother than Go Launcher Ex which is much more heavy than ADW EX.
