yeah it's good, but problem lies in price and availability...

Samsung is pretty much the only one making AMOLED in the world... and they ve not been able to meet the demand for it in mobile market... forcing phone makers, themselves included, to source for other panels... like Sony & Samsung's SLCD, LG's NOVA and IPS display, Sony's BRAVIA display, etc etc... all of which are LCD...

even Samsung's own Galaxy Tab are not using AMOLED...

another few yrs perhaps? the technology has been around for >5yrs already... it's the cost that's stopping makers from mass producing...
