Nice work there Yume!
@Sai91: Perhaps you can try referencing for a start. It's much easier than independent colouring. Once you get a hang of it, the 'feel' will come in naturally. This post has been edited by vypur85: Feb 10 2012, 12:50 PM |

Using mouse to draw is not so advisable. Using mouse to colour is achievable but takes very long time as mentioned. I guess you get better when you practice painting often (then again, what doesn't?). That's why a lot of artists go for speedpaint. It's a form of practice for them.
Yeah, drawing tablets. Any tablet should do I guess. I would suggest you to get yourself a Wacom tablet. The smallest model will do good. It's around RM350-400 I think. |

I see I see. Thanks thanks. > [PF] T.J. Use normal brush as mentioned. Play with opacity. That's it. The rest is up to you. |

Nice piece there again Reine. Love the way you paint the chain and earring. And of course, the eyes, awesome. |

QUOTE(acefreakz @ Apr 23 2012, 10:43 AM) Qft. O.oThe shading seems fine to me, perhaps for a starter. It's clean and the gradient effect can be seen. But yeah, the anatomy may need some work here and there. As with the head and hair too. Use darker shades as well as stronger outlines throughout to make the image more appealing and balanced. Actually I'm curious as well. I really wonder how digital inking is made. Always had trouble dealing with inking... |

Guess there's no easy way out. I really thought it can be done through a few clicks of buttons and some tweaks here and there... Haha.
Still prefer manual pen and paper method then. |

Awesome piece there Adam.
Now, try it with ball pen. Is it inked or just pencil? It looks a lil bit like a reverse bear trap. o.O" |

> anyone has any idea on mouse drawing?
You need steady hand I guess. My advice is don't use mouse. To me, it's a bad practice. No matter how steady your hand is, it will still not produce a nice smooth line. Used to paint with a mouse before, but the end product didn't satisfy me much. ![]() You can see how the eyelashes are roughly lined... This post has been edited by vypur85: May 7 2012, 12:11 AM |

Then again, I cannot doubt the ability of the student in tracing. It's just unreal. o.O No glory but got skill... in copying.
They took off the FB post. Can't locate it, damn it. Curious to know what it's like now. |
