Comment: The face looks curved inwards. Imagine the face shaped like a pear (not 100% like one but just roughly). It's not completely round but slightly curved inwards at the eye part. Second thing is his/her left cheek looks swollen. Mouth and nose need to be in the centre (regardless of how distorted some of the anime look, never copy 100% or you will be stuck with it). You also need to practise on creating smooth strokes rather than breaking the lines. Since you have tablet already, suggest practising and explore the pen sensitivity option.

Yeah u need more variety on strokes,thin,thinner,thick or thicker.The strokes thicker when many strands got close to each other.
Cant brain the bolded part,sorry.

why not draw more detail?

try copy some manga  character first then you will figure out how to draw the hair's flow 

Not really much of a different,just the direction of the strokes is different.I strongly suggest u go study anime hair,keep observing how they draw the hair,thats how I did it.
