jelly = draw harder broski. compartmentalize your studies (figures and gestures/master studies/from life/ environments and perspective etc) , make sense of what you're doing from books and learn from your mistakes.

you know if you're just starting to learn , custom brushes = biggest crutch ever. it keeps you away from learning how the materials and the surfaces actually form and how they react to different points of light. learned this shit the hard way. it's best to stick to : oval /round SOFT and HARD edged brush and the chalk brush and make studies of the materials you want to handle (rocks, stones, moss, grass, water, clouds, etc) with reference .
