Nice pose with great prop and costume.Pay attention to the right hand, considering the shoulder is up,so does the elbow,or that is actually a shoulder pad, then, nothing is wrong with it,proceed to another phase.

The hands,U guys are just...lol
Actually my style is like that, maybe because my reference artist draw big hands, but female's hands are not exactly to be always small, the length is roughly from the forehead until the chin.

QUOTE(DaddyO @ Sep 10 2011, 07:04 PM)
I dont see that as problem though. Her head tilted a bit to her left.

Bingo.
Err lower half?Provide more details please,do u mean her thighs is not big?Or the butt is not big enough?

unless you are doing realism style.

Not realism,semi-realism,I usually combine anime and normal human anatomy with just a little bit of exaggeration.

Not really. The hands are too big for woman anatomy, unless you're drawing crossdressing man or a fat women.
If you want to draw a muscular woman, that's not the right way. You're just making the hands big instead of drawing (bulging) muscles.
I don't know whether it is only me or the right hand is too long, to be exact, the distance between shoulder to elbow is a bit unnatural. hmm.gif
Yeah, the ear kinda weird too.

This is anime drawing though, but refer to the hands. That's how women's muscular hand looks like in semi-realism.

Do u got problem with me?Those hands are fine to me,not that big as crossdressing man's and fat women's hands,do u know how many times I adjust the hands?I never draw guidelines,so I always go by instinct and my hands as a reference, and before u said anything,my hands are not that manly.
Instead of finding people's slightest mistakes, why shouldnt u be posting your drawings then, let's see how perfectly fine it is,I wish it is not drawn by tracing YUI's picture.U are seriously getting on my nerves.

Tracing YUI's pictures is part of my self-training to improve my drawings in semi and full-realism.  doh.gif
Well, until these time I've been drawing all that cartoon, anime and manga stuff so I should learn on drawing that realism stuff as well.

I've got no problem with you actually. You post your drawings here to gain C&C, so I should do some C&C from what I could observe.
Instead of getting pissed off by C&C from people like me, why shouldn't you take these stuff to improve your skills?
Start by drawing guidelines as it can reduce the flaws in your drawings or sketches.

Also I got no time to post my works as now I'm busy with more important stuff. Yes. University (government) is starting new semester next week, and I need to prepare my things.  whistling.gif

Do u think Im dull?My mind cant stop thinking about the world, people call me weird when I always stare them.
I've got no problem with people giving C&C,it is just not fair when I dont know how high ur skill is,and u came here criticizing it like u are a professional artist.

I think the nose is okay,no need to worry about it,just the line work and the shading is wrong.
Agito's idea of changing the drawing to his own preference is not good,it neglected the original artist's way of drawing.
I mean thats not anime.Try to work on the line at the nose part.
To spice up ur drawing, add more details on the eyes and the lips, also the necklace.

I like the details, but if it more neater,I would be more like it.
I know that the character is a female considering she has a pair of mechanical boobs, but if I look at the face I think she's a he.
But props for you when u did all this in lunch time only.
If only you post a serious drawing,I can judge your skill, but judging by this piece, you need more practice.

sorry for being out of topic awhile but i just want to say here. hope no offense @_@"

i'm in a doujin circle group and plan to release our first art book. the title will be '1/2 Human'. while the members seem to be busy/didnt get ideas what to draw, so i'm trying to find a few guest artist to join if any willing. let just say there is no payment for this sad.gif but i will be giving a copy of that book to you if you want to join in.

do ignore this if you find it not in your interest >_<" as it is like no benefits much except a free copy =X. i actually plan to make a little payment (very little to you as most of you are at professional rate) as well but only after i get back my cost. though this is a first attempt so i not sure if i able to even get back the cost so fast or maybe didnt get at all. thats why i must assume there is no payment i can give for now >_<
*
Ahh,I would like to join, but Im more towards traditional that use paper and 2B pencil,no scanner also.
cry.gif
So whats the idea behind 1/2 Human actually.

anything to your wild imagination, that is in the '1/2 human' concept. means anything that looks like human but actually not human. xD example mermaid, taurus, elf, the 12 zodiac, myth, or any anime/manga/virtual/original character that is in that concept like flandre scarlet (touhou), vocaloid (not human but most people might look it as human so need to do something to make it look like not, example with wires plug or something) and so on.

i'm not being very particular on your concept as long it is 1/2 human but QC still applies of coz xD if want more example, agito have made some sketch. not sure he post here before or not though @_@

A4 size, 300 dpi.. er not sure what else. psd, pdf, tiff or any format that is appropriate biggrin.gif no gif, jpg of coz xD
*
Ohhh, actually I've inspired to draw half woman half rabbit, dont be dirty minded, not that...Im thinking it to be more artistic.
What is QC?
