I'm looking for 16"-18" depth. So far Tim from Eleganz Concept quoted me around 9k for the whole thing. Still looking for more quotes. smile.gif

Tim quoted me laminated finish. Dunno whether it's the same one. hmm.gif

Dun really mind to use melamine for the interior material as i won't put too heavy stuff inside except my AV equip.

What do you plan for the back portion to be like?
You need to have easy acess for maintainence (E.G. T5 tube changes and AV equiptment wiring changes)
*
Only the section with 5 compartment will need around 1-2" gap behind for the AV wiring. The rest is mainly to keep other stuffs like CDs, books.

Will need a wiring to install a on/off switch besides the cabinet for easier switching. I have wiring ppl contacts.

I think you should specify the finishing material so that you could have a better comparison. Else, you could be comparing apple with orange  tongue.gif

those chipboard/melamine material that ikea used for their wardrobe/cabinet is fine for me. Don't want to spend too much on this. smile.gif

i used to see these kinda design for cabinet. The door has clean line as the handle is just below the door. Something like this:

They don't do it anymore? hmm.gif

My top cabinet will be quit easy to open coz the bottom line will be around 2 ft from the floor. Where es the drawer unit can put the handle on top? just reverse the design? tongue.gif

Just a thought. I'm not cabinet specialist, but i hope this can work out within my budget. rolleyes.gif
