I stayed up to watch the game yesterday... it was so boring until i slept in the middle of the 1st half... but woke up in the start of the second half... Carrick made so many errors that I literally swearing in front of the TV. He can't even make a simple forward pass properly before giving the ball away. No confidence whatsoever. When your central midfield doesn't have confidence.. the team morale drop tremendously.. remember where we keep reminding each other that we need a creative central midfield? Well the problem is back..

With all due respect, if you are referring to the team against Benfica as a 2nd team, then I'm really disappointed. Well that's IF you are indeed referring to the squad against Benfica as 2nd team.

(this reply on goes to if you think as stated above) This IS the first team! Just replace the 2 CB and we have the same(almost) team that went unbeaten sans the finals last year.

Cleverley, Welbeck, Jones, to me, are still youngsters trying to break into the first team. Thus they ARE the second team.

So referring Cleverley or jones as a 2nd team is just ridiculous because they had already broken into the 1st team.

Its all about picking the players to play.. and whoever makes the best impression will get pick regularly..
