Yes, carrick at his best. Cleverley had been well warming up the place for the return of Carrick.

The thread is moving slow. All thanks to the draw against Benfica.
Carrick this Carrick that. Fletcher this Fletcher that. blah. The most important thing is to give time for the senior members to play and get more game time. Even with Cleverley and Welbeck or any other youngster in the team, I'm sure they won't play any better. In Europe, we always have a different approach. You can't be too adventurous in European Competition. SAF knows best. As always. |

Added on September 16, 2011, 12:41 am basically how many clubs in the world can afford to play their 2nd team and still get a result in UCL? [/quote] With all due respect, if you are referring to the team against Benfica as a 2nd team, then I'm really disappointed. Well that's IF you are indeed referring to the squad against Benfica as 2nd team. (this reply on goes to if you think as stated above) This IS the first team! Just replace the 2 CB and we have the same(almost) team that went unbeaten sans the finals last year. Cleverley, Welbeck, Jones, to me, are still youngsters trying to break into the first team. Thus they ARE the second team. ( this reply is only for those who deemed we fielded a 2nd string team. sekian. |

QUOTE(projectnew @ Sep 16 2011, 02:56 AM) All of them listed in the 1st team squad member.. so all of them are in the 1st team. 2nd team or B team is referred to the reserve squad. So referring Cleverley or jones as a 2nd team is just ridiculous because they had already broken into the 1st team. Its all about picking the players to play.. and whoever makes the best impression will get pick regularly.. And we can't just base who's a regular starter just based on 5 games no? Smalling being used as a RB is due to the numerous injuries the twins have conjure and i hardly see them as rotational players. I dun even know what's a rotation player is and what he does! I think everyone will be rotated at one point or another. So the sum it up, the regular starters would be those who played regularly last season since they do have the experience. The new players we have right now are having the momentum, so that's y they play more. We'll see whether they will play in big games as season goes |

Dez, Dez. Your praises are more like poison to us. I would have preferred a negative one from you instead. You are one messed up pundit.
Anyways, those who still complained bout the way Carrick or Fletcher played..... Screw you! Cleverley this Cleverley that. What lar! Hope to recover fast, blah blah! The squad is strong enough, nuff said. |

Okay, i blame Rooney. He's making everyone else look ordinary or bad.
Evans and Carrick are collateral damage. |
