i believe credit need to be given to rafa for lucas progress. he and lucas both get stick from the press, pundits and own fans. everybody was screaming how lucas is not good enough and why does rafa keep him on the starting line up. almost no one have the faith in lucas like he did. too bad rafa's time is up before lucas matured in his position.

kenny also saw his potential and thank god for that. he was influential last season and carry on his form to this season. a weaker player would crumble after all the sticks that being thrown. not him though. he carry on and keep focus on football.

apart from downing and enrique i think the whole team not performing. adam, lucas, suarez, hendo, kuyt was not sharp. i blame the international break. bellamy did show some positive after he comes in for hendo.

carra made sloppy mistake. i bet he knows it too and dissapointed more than anyone else. he'll be good against spurs next week. dont worry. but i do agree that he needs to be bench from time to time. to ease coates into the side.

the reason we have those high possession stats because stoke park the bus after they lead and refuse to play.

next week a tougher match. hope kenny can patch things up.

carra lost his speed? he never has any to begin with. but he cover that by reading the game well. not as well as hyppia but he's more than good enough.

yesterday was the worst perfomance yet. even before adam sent out. both he and the team was struggling to follow the pace of spurs. i think kenny made a mistake in the line up and tactics. kuyt or bellamy should start imho.

hendo + skrtel on the right is a big NO. dont want to see skrtel there again.

carroll doesnt looks like he fit in the system does he? i hope it will change with time.

still early in the season though.. with chelsea and city drop points, CL spot still in sight.

QUOTE(leftist @ Sep 19 2011, 07:40 PM)
agreed..in Rafa days,Kuyt will be a starter for tough away games like this...his defensive qualities was a big plus for us..imagine Skrtel+Kuyt at right hand side instead of Hendo..i think Bale will have difficulty to get pass our defense

kuyt tracking back and helping on the defensive work is something missing in the last game. though i'm sure kenny put hendo because he plan an attacking play against spurs.

i notice before skrtel's red card kenny was preparing to sub him with robbo. too bad skrtel made that foul. otherwise we might not played with 9 against 12.

cant helpedbut notice the commentator said that's kuyt's 16th goal out of 26 games. quite impressive for someone who people said dont have any speed, dribble skill and flair, innit?
