Benayoun leaving Chelsea?

Yossi Benayoun appears to be on the verge of leaving Chelsea after confirmed on Twitter that he is in negotiations with a few clubs.

Benayoun has seen just one minute of action for the Blues this season and looks to be surplus to requirements following the arrival of fellow midfielder Juan Mata from Valencia.

meireles was 28 i believe...even though he was good, i think he didn't fit in with kenny's overall long term plan. even stewart downing at 26 was a bit iffy for kenny i believe. either way, i was worried merieles would get discontented because he didn't feature in the first two games (bar that super sub appearance).

Stoke really made it hard for Liverpool to attack but what frustrates me is that we had possession most of the time and believe that we should have done a lot better with it.

stoke drew liverpool into playing a direct style instead of the fluid passing because they just broke up all our passing...that's why i believe kenny introduced carroll in the mix to make use of the direct play...a good game but bad result. i'm still positive about our season. if we can keep the defeats down to 2 or 3 this season, we'll go far

I think coming off a flying finish to last season and that super performance against Bolton, a lot of us (including myself) dared to dream that we could actually win it this season. To see the Manc teams doing so well and us stumbling against lesser teams again, sorta brought us back down to earth...that isn't to say we can't still win it...but it'll take something special...like maybe Andy Carroll waking up from his slumber or Gerrard coming back in.
