Latest news has it that Bellamy prefer Spurs over us?
Dont think so, unless money talk...Bellamy is a liverpool fan! AS a back-up player, I am fine, but still wish Ngog will stay and given more chance to develop, always thot that Ngog is just a few improvement away from becoming a threat to defense
I tot charlie adam is superb, i rate him higher than alonso...notice alonso is so-so with short passing in the final third of the pitch, but this charlie here is more composed, and the fact that he can dribble into space for a shot on goal, makes him more threatening than alonso...still adam need to show consistency to be confirmed as world class
J. Henderson...altho not gerard when he broke into liverpool squad...but feel that he can develop into a complete midfielder in the mould of gerard, remember that he finished with his left foot for the goal..
Downing, must live with the huge price tag...but so far, a vry potent attacking threat...certainly this year we have 2-3 more penetrative attackers than last year!! During Roy H, we treat J Cole as savior, meirelles was unknown at the time and wasnt much of a threat, altho he weight in with goals later part of the season...but now we easily have Downing, Adam, Henderson, gerard soon to be back...and also wing backs look great with enrique and gln johnson marauding the flanks,,,attacking wise, i personally think we are well equipped this season
Must agree with the commentator, if we can get Andy Carrol to blend into the system, liverpool would be unplayable..i am guessing that becos we play with interchangeable system, you can see Kuyt, in left, right and centre..suarez upfront, on the flank and dropping deep to collect the ball, c.adam working the flank ...just feel that the giant Carrol will take a bit of time to work his way into the system..hope that KD can get carrol sorted soonest, becos he is one hell of a centreforward..still remember we play newcastle against him, we have 2-3 players marking him but still he scored!!

Heard that traditional winger is a dying breed..even in the english game where these players will race for the byline to send in a razor sharp cross for the strikers to score with a header....in fact liverpool tried to groom some of these player but without much success...we have mark kennedy who impress initially but couldnt make the mark...then we sign jason mcateer...but turn out didnt have the pace..then mcmanaman, who operates more as an AM....logically a right winger should be easier to find, afterall its right leg.. but as it is nowadays, not much stand out wingers available..i guess u can find plenty with pace but crosses sucks...those who can cross but pace sucks....which is why kuyt is still relevant, as he has a bit of pace, good crosses and plus point is he can defend and track back....earlier rumour about liverpool targetting aaron lennon...well i think he is quick but poor in tracking back and also crosses not quality enough. Nuff said, am happy with our current arsenal on the flanks

Saw FA classic match between Liv VS Fulham, can't help but notice Didi Hamann's contribution throughout the match, he was superb...which explain why he was signed by GH and still utilize by RB. Breaking up opponents play, he did it with aggression and doesnt give face, I think Alonso learned quite a lot from him. His passing is also good, and my, how we miss his thunderbolt freekicks and long range shot..Gerard was DM but Didi covers most of the ground to allow Stevie to maraud upfield...would say Didi the unsung hero....just hope that Lucas can achieve this, not at this moment tho....even Masch is not as complete as Didi....

Well, it is my personal opinion that hamann is the complete dm for me, of course he still have his weakness~ lack of pace, energy, flair etc, but if u consider his age, his competitiveness is unbelieavable...he may not provide the final killer pass, or 40 meters cross field pass, but, his crosses r good enough, n even better than masch n Lucas, so far...let not forget he heads better than masch, and also he can get the ball out from danger better after defenders head out from 18 yards..again in my humble opinion, hamann n Alonso r almost like for like, but I haven't see this in Lucas...yet. Let's hope he can develop into 1 soon

Again, saw lots of comments and emotional outburst..for me - i would anytime prefer WE dominate than being dominated...compare to Houllier style of play, i would choose this Liverpool team anytime. Match stats read like 70% to 30% possession, shot on target 16 (6 on target) vs 2 (1 ontarget) for Stoke. I will take it if we can put out a dominant display like this throughout the season - I can see ourself within top 4 is definitely achieveable
The question of Carra, well he is out of position in the first place, but i tot he did well to recover but the JWalter sort of push himself onto Carra, and fell...well to me the referee's performance is much to be desired as a Liverpool fan..
Saw another match - Scott Dan - Blackburn VS Fulham, and i tot poor display from this lad..earlier rumors that we are considering him, but from wat i can see, he is not liverpool material...at least not yet..i am sure he'll be skin alive if he perform like he did against fulham -wearing a REDs shirt..Probably a good thing that Coates being carefully intro into BPL, KD being the astute man-manager

Still have faith in A. Carrol, despite his less than explosive start to the season. Just felt that the strategy now is built around suarez more than carrol, which is understood, given he was injured when he joined the reds..but if carrol can find his place in the team and playing off suarez..we have potentially a strong big man small man combination.
Jordan henderson predicament is the same as how we all judge our very own R babel...nothing special, waste of money, ...but i can see JH progressing and groom to take over from Gerard. Prev we all moan about why babel not given the chance, but now we moan why we give so many chances to JH...tis is the very thing i admire KK, he stick to his gun. His player may miss glorious chances, but bear in mind that he got the chance from his positioning and how he carry the ball near the box before taking his shot..it misses..so what, u can only blame players for lack of trying...just my 2 cents
