IMO It was the correct sub. Gerrard isn't a great CM and not to mention it's risky to have him play in CM making tackles. Suarez didn't warrant a sub but it was either him or Carroll. Suarez played well tonight, but Carroll still needs play time to improve and have better understanding with his teamates. Also, Suarez has nearly always been subbed towards the end of a match. He just wanted to stay on and play, nothing wrong with that. Kenny will deal with him.

I think what we all doubting here is whether KD trying to pro Carrol or is he making decision based on situation. Or even worse, he trying to justify his statement on Carrol and prove the world wrong. A goal up and you taking out your best player and putting in an unfit player who din play for 6 freaking months? That's seriously wtf.

Was very angry by sub suarez with gerrard. I want our no 9 drop to reserve. I don know what is in kd mind but he got all his tactical wrong and sub wrong ppl. Great.. next news we gonna heard is suarez moving to barca. Good job kenny.

A player's fitness dun return to his best for one game which he played only...erm 20minutes+?

Carrol injured last March and he is still yet to return to his 'best'.

As for midfielders we had on pitch earlier, they were tired cos midweek game.So, of course, generally, Gerrard will look fitter...

Just shows how passionate he is with his game. At least he didn't vent all the frustration on someone. 10million times  better than Caroll who looked like a dead fish throughout the game.....

Look fitter doesn't mean he is fit. He has fresh legs but he is still unfit. In a game with such high tempo, and gerrard slowly losing his pace of old times, this is very unwise time of substituting Suarez with him. If Adam was the one being replaced by Gerrard, fine, good decision because technically, Adam isn't really good in defending and in terms of passing, Gerrard has an edge over him.

Have you not heard of the saying ' Attack is the best defense'?  Suarez was causing all sorts of problems to Wolves' defense and in a month like this where we lose 2 league matches and struggled to beat a championship team in carling cup, I would expect KD to put strongest player on pitch until we get a far convincing result . 2-1 with the shake defense of ours, taking out the player that was a thorn in opponent's flesh is clearly an unwise move. Still, I prefer Gerrard-Suarez linkup than Gerrard-Carrol. That's the point I m trying to make.

Agree bout Downing and Carroll creating a lot of chance. Carroll did improve a lot in this game. He is moving all over the pitch to create chance. However Henderson is very useless in this game. His crosses, passes and positioning suck. I remember there was once the was on the right side and no one was marking him but he make a very very poor cross

he chosen the same lineup again spurs is not call him trying out combinations..it call chossing englishmen against anybody...we lost meireles becoz he been dropped for 'some' englishmen 
About our match against spurs, i'm completely disagree with KD responds (yes, he was really good in answering reporter question) that said tottenham play very2 well...actually our teams is poor..totally poor that day....that is...now i'm nervous...if we lose against everton n man u, that gonna be terrible.

yes..he put transfer request....but if you're meireles would you still be here if you been dropped on the bench for some englishmen suddenly although you're the PFA player of the year??the answer quite simple right...

IF he gets to play regularly, i dont think this would be an issue. Its not that he did not perform.
