Crimson editor - free, simple, ugly icon -->
UltraEdit - 1337 features (like FTP, memory editing etc), not free, startup a bit slow.
My vote goes to UltraEdit since it's the "official" text-editor in my office, and very used to it already

QUOTE(Sphenix @ Sep 24 2005, 11:28 PM) how come tak ada Microsoft Word? Microsoft Word is word processorI voted for Microsoft Word - user friendly, compatibility .....but it's not free Text editor doesn't allow you to do formatting, it just does plaintext editing with some syntax highlighting kind of things. |

QUOTE(gabandell @ Oct 3 2005, 07:35 PM) It is indeed easy and fastBut not quite agree with "no fancy tools", IMO those features offered in advanced text editors are not considered fancy afterall but to speed up work and increase readability While you perceive those features as fancy features, others might find it useful in doing their daily routines Just my RM0.02 |
